oh wow they let me change my personal statement lmao

it's just so satisfying to know that, this time next month, all I'll need to worry about (uni wise) is prepping for interviews. that is unless I decide on a whim to do the BMAT :spin:

Ya girl has submitted her UCAS application (although it still has to go through school) and shall be applying for BA Geography!

Daniel-X 25-09-2018 03:34 PM

reece(: 25-09-2018 03:36 PM

Business MA at Northumbria sounds thin and fun.

Ant. 25-09-2018 04:07 PM

legit, I didn't know whether to put 'gay man' but I did and now I cannot wait to be invited to all the LGBT socs!

All five offers are in from Queen Mary University London, Loughborough, Leeds, York and Exeter and it's now decision time!

Ant what kind of Access is it you're doing? Mine was an "Access to University" one, for over 18s who didn't do A Levels, and I applied normally through UCAS. I've not heard of it as you described.

It's an access programme which gives you a reduced offer of up to 2 grades (so a course requiring AAA will be lowered to ABB) in A Levels! It's aimed at college students near the area of the Uni. What did you study?

I've not head of that, sounds pretty good! Is it for universities which are in some kind of partnership with the college, or just any local ones?
I did Primary Education:D

Thanks! I applied earlier so I had a better chance of my app being thoroughly looked at :)

Ant. 31-10-2018 03:40 PM

my BMAT is DONE!

The waiting game/preparing for interviews begins...

It is!
It's any local ones (although that said I think I was one of the furthest away - I certainly was the only one from my college at the programme and we're a big college :skull:)

Oh that's smart! I thought only medics and Oxbridge could apply early so that's nice, I would've applied earlier if I had the choice anywho

Daniel-X 31-10-2018 04:14 PM

Been offered an unconditional place at York! (probably going to go there anyway)

Waiting back from Bristol, Nottingham, Liverpool and Edinburgh

SherzyK 17-01-2019 07:25 PM

Wishing everyone good luck on their exams

You’re gonna smash it!

Ant. 06-05-2019 12:08 AM

Just bumping this to see how everyone's coping with looming exams?

I'm not gonna lie, I'm scared. It feels like there's so much I don't know and I really don't want to resit a year :( all my teachers are confident I'll do well, though

I just wish I stayed focus during a few months in which my mind just spiralled </3 but it's not over yet! I've noticed a massive improvement in the space of two months and that was by doing less work than I'm currently doing now. Mark my words - I will be at Uni this time in 5 months!

Cal. 06-05-2019 04:39 AM

She’s accepted her place at Keele to do Biology loov!

reece(: 05-06-2019 01:18 PM

Omg I went to Keele for my foundation year before transferring. Nice campus and great SU I just found things slow and you have to hand things in with paper in an office whereas everything at my uni is done electronically so I didn’t even have to leave my bed. Also found Keele very cliquey as it is a campus uni

I have received a First on all my assignments this year and for one exam, just waiting for the result of one more exam to find out my overall grade, then graduation in July!
