You're generalising. Not her.

But, now you also wish she had described her relationship differently, as though you know it better than she does?

She's using the terminology of it ("free", "controlling"), it's enough to understand how she has experienced it. And to be honest, I'm not quite bothered about it - if it what it is, then fine.
It's that projecting her personal experience on to something big and turning to "any woman out there". It doesn't have to always be about women as a whole... Not every personal experience is an invitation to become "inspirational" to mankind. Good for you for moving away from your idiot boyfriend, but yeah... that's about it.

Yeah, what a cow for getting out of what appears to be a bit of a controlling relationship and telling other people in the same boat "Believe in yourself. You can do it too!" Who does she think she is being all nice.

You just took what she actually said and took it to extreme proportions because for some reason it offended you.

I think he should leave bc it will just bring a horrible awkward attitude to the show.

And i don't like him.

Strictly Jake 09-10-2018 08:11 AM

I think after this they will step down from the show they won't have anyone on their side especially after Rebecca's tweet

Not sure if they will let them carry on, pardon the pun :fan: , they have put the producers in an awkward position, it is a family viewing show

hardly forced, they brought it on themselves, I mean I don't care but and the Beeb don't have to satisfy advertisers so they may let them continue, I can see them bottom 2 and booted off though, will be interesting to see how it plays out.

if he dances well, judges will either way just make sure he is bottom of the leaderboard, and then rigging the voting lines so no one can vote for him, making sure he is bottom 2 and goes home (even with a good dance)

It's gross that when she confronted him he tried to make her out to be a psycho.

I hope Neil leaves Katya too, he can do much better.

Neil is a really lovely guy

what he mostly does now for strictly, is assist some of the dance couples in training, he used to do that for Katya and her celeb partners but i'm sure because of this snog-gate thing he might no longer do that for her

You were dating and idiot that wasn't right for you - stop with the whole demonizing bs. Not everything is a perpetrator/victim crime scene.

He cheated on her and tried to make out she was crazy for having suspicions and then apologised to the media but not to his long tern partner.......the only one he actually betrayed............... he deserves demonizing

I wonder if this will lose them support. Shame, because he was doing so well.

Who hasn't had a drunken snog at some point, and regretted it?

I like Seann. I hope he stays. It's no one else's business but those involved. Unless we're suddenly going to be the conscience of everyone who ever takes part in Strictly.

For an enlightened, accepting society, when it suits, we're right back to being po faced Victorians judging other people when really, it's no one else's business than the two involved and their partners.

Livia 09-10-2018 11:20 AM

having just read his girlfriend's post.... he sounds like he's well rid of her.

If the pair of them weren’t gracing Saturday night prime time tv I might agree, they have humiliated their partners in front of a huge audience
