She will also be our first black winner of the jungle. Regardless I like her!

I absolutely hate that expression.

'First black...'

It's so patronising and backward.

Can't people see her as just a winner.

I don't watch X Factor so judging her on this only, Im not a massive fan ,she spends too much time in the cabin talking to the cameras and I found her OTT laughing over a fart last night very staged

It’s not backwards because a black person hasn’t won yet, we’re just pointing out that she will be if she wins. The term “backward” also suggests that racism is over

@Chuff For your age you should know better than to co-sign. Black people being the first to win things is an accomplishment because of the history we have, it’s by no means patronising and I’m 100% sure Fleur will agree

This take that 'backwards' energy to your race mates who are burning grenfell tower effigies.

Yeah I'm sure "the first female" to win was a thing too since the first two winners were men

John made a song and dance over having a sweaty bum in the first episode. And in general everything is theatrical with him ,but doesn't surprise he gets let off for his annoying behaviour  .

She wasn't even the only one laughing but let's pretend she wasn't so she can get scapegoated for having a sense of humour
