I like Noel so far ,I don't see why people don't like him,he has obviously been told to mix it up a bit in there, but I haven't seen him as nasty yet,John was a bit OTT when Noel remarked on his itching,I like John but it was clear Noel was kidding as for Anne and Noel,I've not seen any rivalry yet, that look could have been made about anything or anyone ,but the media today were lapping it up as she was not happy with him, they do like to stir things, lol.I think he has been great with them all,him and Harry make a good duo, he is doing what's been asked of him,I like them all tbh,but I think Nick is my fave so far.I just hope they send Mr Blobby in now aswell.

:laugh2:

Harry is a natural comic, nothing put on for the cameras

She's annoyed that Noel didn't give her a bed, she expects to just be given everything at this point.

Tbf, he is known for being a bit of a pillock so she was probably thinking oh god we’re going to have to put up with him for the next however many days

I think that's more likely than her instantly thinking he's going to get a better bed than me and he won't give it to me

Turtle 23-11-2018 02:38 PM

It would be funny if the kept Noel on as Emperor for the entire series instead of the inevitable/predictable 'elect a new emperor'

When Nick gave her his pillow ,she never offered to share its with the others and don't forget Harry is 70 and has a bad back (And didn't he give up his bed for her ?)

She accepted his pillow after she'd just quit the trial and lost the dinner.

Anyone not as selfish would have thanked Nick for the offer but not accepted it.

Difference is, before he said he was giving it to Anne specifically, he said he was taking it so he could give it to anyone who was struggling. Whether that was actually true or not, idk, but she might have decided that yes she really wanted the pillow and took Nick up on his offer

Also, she could struggle with social cues sometimes, so where you or I might say “Oh thank you very much but i’ll be fine thanks, keep it for yourself” she might not even realise, but that doesn’t mean she’s selfish

Or she could just be a selfish cow who thinks her needs are greater than anyone else ?

Niamh. 23-11-2018 03:23 PM

Or she could just be really tired and grateful to Nick? Was she supposed to pass it on and then whoever she gave it to would then be the selfish one for taking it? Is Harry the only one who could accept the pillow without being called selfish?

How do you share a pillow when they’re all sleeping in single bunks or hammocks? Cut it in half?

Stupid thing to say.
