We haven't seen Harry get any particularly special treatment so it was a strange thing for him to say, I think he was a bit annoyed Harry beat him in the physical aspect of the trial

So? My grand parents were 20 years older than that and my grand dad still didn't expect my granny to be his servant and she was a stay at home mother aswell

Your granny is a lucky woman, my Dad did NOTHING in our house apart from work and do DIY
( apart from decorating, he was useless at that lol )he didnt even know where the hoover was kept, never washed a pot.But my Mam never expected him to, and would have been disappointed if he had

My own dad was like that and it was a disgusting way to treat my mother, she would have loved some help. Thankfully times have changed and people can leave now when they're not respected like that.

Yes same here. Also, Gav is a very capable adult but then I wouldn't be with a man child looking for a second mother :p

And people call Anne lazy :umm2:

He doesn't cook...he said at the start he is happy to do anything like washing up because he cant cook...but that's it. Think you are making an assumption there.

My parents are nearly 90 and up until 5 years ago all my dad could do was boil an egg. Now he does a lot of the cooking because he has to...and its not homemade stuff either.
My mum was a stay at home mum for many years and her role was housewife whilst my dad earnt the pennies my mum did all household duties including the cooking..its a generation thing but thank god times have changed.

My husbands quite capable of being self sufficient...although I do most of the decorating and DIY is out the question after he nearly flooded the house many years ago and 5 years ago he decided to clean the pipework out under the kitchen sink when I was at work but couldn't remember how to put it back together..

I thought it was probably more to do with the fact Malique threw the task because of Anne and Harry, can't really blame him as it cost them points. He is a kind man,but he is also competitive and likes to win as we all do.
