Only time I ever jumped a queue would be at the bar:blush: |

As annoying as waiting in a queue can be, I always wait until my turn as I wouldn't like people queue jumping me.
Also I just don't like being so hostile in public. |
This is much less of a problem if you go to civilised shops with a decent number of checkouts and not the dives where they have to sprint from the back of the shop where they were stacking eggs to the front to serve you, barrelling over three old ladies and a toddler on the way.

This happens in all the supermarkets, they are cutting staff so they can cut their prices to match Aldi and Lidl :idc: I walked into Marks the other day there was one till out of about 6 open and the self serves |

No I wouldn't push but I will fume inside if someone with a lot of shopping doesn't ask if I'd like to go first
|
Me, never, but someone jumped the queue in front of me today and I was raging but so as not to make a scene I didn’t say anything
|
Yeah it's hella rude.
Even worse if the person has a full trolley in front of me while I have only have a couple of things and another till opens and they still go in front. |
if you cut queues you're literally scum of the earth and i will not interact with you ever again
|
I'm not sure if I've ever done this or not, or if it's been done to me, (probably yes for both) but I honestly NEVER thought of it as rude. Like I don't think I ever thought about it period until I read this thread lol but I would've just thought the people last in line get first dibs as they were last in the process of choosing a line, aren't really committed to the line for that reason, and otherwise have to wait the longest (ie. they have the most reason to get off the line). Like if there's multiple queues at the supermarket, I'm always judging the lengths to see which one I should get on that'll be the quickest including after I've already picked a lane. I see a ton of people switching lanes all the time so I assume it's fine to do.
A little bit different if a new lane JUST opened, but yeah I never thought about it as rude. (But again, this was before I just self-checkout 90% of the time now :fan:) |

If someone was in front of me in a queue and the till next opened up it would just be easier if I moved over instead of the person in front started backing up out the queue. Literally didn't realize this was a 'thing' |

I skip the queue at the airport every time. I don't go for newly opened registers though.

Literally once had a woman (she seemed like she might’ve had special needs, but I still don’t care) just walk in front of me and dump her basket down (she had loads of stuff and I had a ****ing meal deal and was gonna ask for some fags). Worst part was I was slagging her off under my breath to my friend and she kept shooting me dirty looks :skull:
|
Mess I don’t even consider that queue jumping bc it’s not even the same queue. As soon as a new till opens I’m over there asap. If you snooze you loose!
