Iron Man 2 & 3 are a bit ropey imo, especially the third.

Iron Man 2 is ropey but watchable. Iron Man 3 is outright bad. My least favourite Marvel movie by a mile.

Hey TS :wavey: I agree with what you said about Batman v Superman. Despite its flaws, I think it is a fantastic film and the action scenes are top notch. Love him or hate him, Zack Snyder knows how to do action scenes

The warehouse fight just might be the single greatest scene in the DCEU for me

I've watched them both at the cinema and enjoyed them

I'd say the Incredible Hulk is my least favourite in the MCU

Haven't seen 5

Awful films. First one was ok, the rest are trash.

I'd say only Brenda's scenes in the sequels are at all funny.

Loved it. And still, after all these years, find Sandra Bullock great even with the Michael Jackson wig. :hehe:

I'd add the Star Wars prequels to the list. ROTS was fantastic and the best non original trilogy film

In fact, I prefer it to ROTJ

Yeah I dislike The Incredible Hulk Film more than Iron Man 3, also bizarrely Age Of Ultron and Black Panther wind me up something rotten.

Marsh. 25-02-2019 10:36 PM

What's wrong with Black Panther. :o

Grease 2, the better of the two films, an underrated classic

I think that Iron Man 3 had made Tony Stark too annoying which obviously didn't help the Film for me as he is my favourite character in those Films.

Thankfully as you've already said yourself, they make him much more fun again in the Avengers Movies.

The villain sucks something rotten imo.

Also I didn't buy that such a technological society like Rawkanda would be into tribal rituals like the Film was portraying, but tbf maybe I'm just being harsh as I usually can be when it comes to storylines.:joker:

Another thing that bothered me with Black Panther was the fact that Rawkanda (excuse the spelling) was meant to be an advanced society yet when the world has been attacked throughout these Marvel Films the Rawkandans decided to not lend their help in any shape or form? I know that they like to be recluse normally, but when we're meant to be believing that Earth is in danger you'd like to think that the most powerful nation in the world of Marvel would've tried to enter the world scene a lot sooner than they have done imo.

The only thing I hated about Iron Man 3 was the twist about the mandarin. The trailers made him look so badass and menacing- only for all of that to go out of the window when they revealed he was an actor.

That almost put me off the whole film

I Loved Black Panther. Killmonger was a great villain

Yeah it wasn't the best moment in the Film imo.

Ang Lee's Hulk is criminally underrated. Everything about it was perfect imo. It has the most accurate portrayal of Hulk too

And the theme is beautiful

The biggest problem with these "cinematic universes" for me. So many different stories, characters, ideas that they all contradict one another.

Didn't they do that because of the backlash from fans about the Mandarin?

Age of Ultron is commonly seen as a disappointment compared to the first

I'd say the only MCU films that are negatively reviewed by comic book fans are

- The Incredible Hulk
- Iron Man 2
- Iron Man 3
- Thor: The Dark World

You're right on that.

I suppose it's gonna be hard to not write yourself into plot holes when doing so many Movies, but I do get bothered by that particular mistake from Black Panther.
