Yeah but they have stepped in immediately and removed her. I can't see how they can be criticised.

Just been on BBC News 24 as well!!

GlitterEyes 07-06-2007 09:02 AM

This all stinks....bb end up looking great. Emily is an actress...seems a bit fixed to me lol.

Michael 07-06-2007 09:03 AM

its breaking news on sky...hmmm

Bells 07-06-2007 09:05 AM

OMG, that must've been really serious then. Yeah I'm watching the news now.

kittykat2007 07-06-2007 09:05 AM

Wonder what she said... prpbably won't find out, ither, cos Channel 4 will be in trouble again if they aired it.

I'm quite pleased she's gone, actually. I was going to vote to get her out anyway, after that Emily vs Ziggy argument on last night's show. Ziggy didn't deserve that... she lied and tricked him!

In my opinion, it should have been her and her only to recieve punishment from Big Brother... not Ziggy as well!

Michael 07-06-2007 09:05 AM

if emily targeed charley, then why was charley crying this morning

it will be shown later on tonight on sky news. its on channel 501 and 503 atm

Sunny_01 07-06-2007 09:06 AM

I cant believe that she said that, she seems to be so politically correct!! I am thinking this might be a knee jerk reaction to what happened last time!!

GiRTh 07-06-2007 09:06 AM

Apparently she has been ejected for saying a racist word. Pathetic.

Sophii3x 07-06-2007 09:06 AM

I can't belive they've ejected her, it's STUPID! I dunno what she did though, but if there was drink involved could have been anything!

they have to after CBB5

GlitterEyes 07-06-2007 09:08 AM

I think even if what she said was said in a joking manner it can still be seen as racist and big brother want to win the public back therefore doing this is a step up for them.

Bells 07-06-2007 09:08 AM

I don't think anyone can judge yet. I don't think it was pathetic at all - a racist comment is just not on. According to the news, apparently it is far too bad to air on the news itself. But there's a possibility it will be shown tonight, and they need legal advice and everything.

Michael 07-06-2007 09:08 AM

after what that man said on sky news, i doubt c4will show it. they were stupid enough in january to show it, they really shouldnt.

Its that age old argument though, was her comment racially motivated, I mean did she mean to cause offense, was Charley even offended? or are they just reacting. They have just said on sky that Nikki and Charley were not offended at the time but surprised, Emily had immediatley expressed that she should not have said that at all.

Bells 07-06-2007 09:10 AM

And to think, I disliked Emily without even knowing she was capable of using racist language.

GiRTh 07-06-2007 09:10 AM

If it was that bad then I change my position. They're right to get rid of the racist cow.

I get the feeling it caused shock! not offence though but had they not liked the girl would they have been offended I wonder?

Michael 07-06-2007 09:11 AM

meh... this isnt good for c4

Michael 07-06-2007 09:13 AM

BBC

"Emily Parr has been removed from the Big Brother house for using a racially offensive word to another housemate.
The 19-year-old from Bristol was taken out of the compound at 0330 BST and was forbidden from having any further contact with the 11 other contestants.

This week's eviction vote has been cancelled - Emily was nominated along with Shabnam Paryani.

A spokeswoman for Channel 4 said that the decision had been taken because "such behaviour won't be tolerated". "

Camomile 07-06-2007 09:13 AM

What did she say??

This is ridiculous.. :(

Who cares? A racist comment is what it is.

Bee 07-06-2007 09:13 AM

so the sweet little emily wasn't so sweet after all was she!!!!

Bells 07-06-2007 09:13 AM

I'm not too sure about that Michael - the fact that C4 has acted responsibly and handled situations well so far isn't so bad. This is reality TV at the end of the day, things like this will happen - if anything by doing this they may have gained more respect.
