Hard to disagree with this. They don't keep porn mags next to Spider-Man, so why should it be easy for kids to come across it online?

Vicky. 17-04-2019 01:06 PM

I think this is a good idea personally, mind I don't watch porn so maybe those who do will be pissed off. BUT, its easy enough to show ID. Some kids will get round it as they will use their parents ID, but I do think porn usage amongst teens (and younger sometimes..) will decrease hugely. It does seem like censorship, however, its a kind of 'think of the children!!!' situation, so I agree with it really.

Will this be amateur porn also? 'Proper' porn has gotten so violent it seems. My mates husband is a porn asddict and keeps asking her if he can choke her and stuff as thats what he watched. Then you have the many men who have killed their partners in 'sex games gone wrong'..which is just another excuse really to get away with murder as noone can consent to being murdered..and if they do they are clearly mentally ill so cannot give informed consent at all!

I honestly think porn is responsible for a lot of the problems there are today. However, that won't shock many people as its fairly well known I am a feminist

Now time to tackle fast food restaurants and ban children meals and put a fast food tax on everything unhealthy

Whats wrong with kids meals?

My kids are weird (in a good way, not complaining about this), when they go to McDonalds..maybe once every few months, they chose chicken nuggets but with carrot sticks, a fruit bag and water!

I just think they are cheap and easy so parents buy them rather then cooking, child obesity is out of control and we need to do everything to stop children being overweight

Doesn't mean they should be taxed more, the best answer is always less taxes, not more.

There should be tax breaks for companies which offer affordable healthy food.

Quite. Instead of just making everything more expensive, maike it so good quality food is cheaper.

We dont really have this issue now as finances are stable, but when we were very poor, you could get a 50 bag of chicken nuggets for a quid. Where fresh fruit and veg were ridiculous prices when we had like..20-30 quid to do shopping for the whole week...

I hate how the go to answer always seems to be 'charge people more'

in porn, especially these days, there is something for everyone .... i would post a link but it would probably get me banned, so here is a definition

"Femdom is short for female dominance. It originates in the BDSM (bondage, discipline, sadism, and masochism) community, where a dominant describes a partner who takes charge during consensual sex acts involving power, pain, or humiliation. The term femdom dates back to at least 1986, when it was being used in pornography."

Well not in restaurants, but doing the general shopping..we lived on crap for a few months, and fruit and beg was a treat, as was fresh meat. Was bloody awful tbh.

Given more people than every are living in poverty these days, my vote would be for tax breaks for companies wh charge less for 'proper' food.

I wish those 'wonky veg' or whatever it is that tesco do was around when I was skint mind!

First step of a slippery slope in the guise of protecting children.

It should be up to parents to monitor and block inappropriate content for their children, it shouldn't be an excuse for the government to monitor and block websites unless you agree to basically hand over your information. It's truly grim what this could lead to.

You could apply that to a lot of things though it should be up to parents to feed and cloth their offspring as well but many have no issue letting the state do that and are happy to hand over their information

Well its hardly a guise...given it actualy WILL protect a lot of children. I don't really get what the issue is with showing ID if you want to watch someone be choked almost to death then get spunk in her eyes D:

I dont get how wr have become a porn obsessed nation in the 1st place

Smithy 17-04-2019 02:09 PM

So dumb, I can understand protecting children (I.e 11>) but that should be responsibility of the parents. From the age of 12 once kids (mainly boys lbh) hit puberty they’re going to access porn one way or another

Indeed.

bots 17-04-2019 02:13 PM

it's a system that is destined for failure. Those that want to watch porn will find a way to watch it without providing id. Those that don't want to watch it won't care any way.

If this is targeting school kids, then they are the ones that will get lured into underground methods of watching it, and that is an environment far more dangerous than what they are being blocked from watching. It's just not been thought through properly at all.

Saph 17-04-2019 02:16 PM

who actually cares.. isnt that part of being like 13, going on omegle with your friends and laughing as the dicks

where is the documented evidence that watching porn affects kids. I would have thought witnessing accidents like car crashes or seeing people being killed in war zones was far more damaging. Nothing is done to protect kids from that in every day life.

Cal. 17-04-2019 02:25 PM

A bit too restrictive for my liking
