It was knowing that my family would have to cope with that, and knowing the raw, hopeless, endless feeling of having lost someone you love, I didn't want them to go through it. And it took me a good few years to feel in a normal way, to stop feeling guilty if I smiled, or if I was having fun without him. But like everyone knows, time is the best healer... and now I have a new life, and a new husband... Of course, if they both felt this is really what they want, that's up to them. But it will be harder on their kids x2.

seems quite selfish if they are leaving family behind, my Dad died when I was 15, imagine if my Mom decided she was going to go as well :skull: We get it they have been together and are very happy but the human spirit is incredible and you can move on even on your own after someone close to you dies, it took my Mom a few years to get back to herself but she had a great life travelling and enjoyed her grandkids and she never forgot my Dad :love:
