Why didn't your relationship work out before? Do you think things could change this time around?

Cherie 29-07-2019 06:52 AM

A friend of mine remarried her ex husband last year and they are so happy, they had two kids together, divorced, they both married other people and had kids with them, when those relationships broke down they were single for a while but obviously met up at family gatherings, now 30 years after their first wedding, they are back together and happier than ever, no harm meeting up with him for a drink, what is the worst that can happen Ness, unless it was an abusive relationship in which case stay the hell away from him

Go for it Ness, and like Cherie said as long as he wasn't abusive, what have you got to lose ? Things happen for a reason, this could be good for you, dont miss opportunities to be happy ,and there is no pressure for you to do anything other than what you want to do.

Sorry, I didn't see it.

Let's just say it's complicated. A lot happened between us that I don't really want to remember. That doesn't mean we didn't have some happy times as well.

Send him a couple of topless shots and a eggplant emoji and see what develops?

I don't hold grudges, but sometime remembering the past can be painful.

There's a difference between holding a grudge and learning from mistakes and not putting yourself into bad situations again though. Just be careful

True. He isn't a bad person, but our past isn't always a happy one

I'm happy being single, to be honest. But maybe we could be friends?

thesheriff443 29-07-2019 01:58 PM

i never give relationship advice. We can only make judgements from our own personal experiences and every relationship is different

If you are happy as you are Vanessa, then don't change things maybe just chat to him online as friends.

Beso 29-07-2019 03:10 PM

Invite him round...I will.come round an hour before him and get myself settled in his old chair.

Not if you are still in love with him...but why has he got in touch with you. Do you think he wants you back?
