A friend of mine remarried her ex husband last year and they are so happy, they had two kids together, divorced, they both married other people and had kids with them, when those relationships broke down they were single for a while but obviously met up at family gatherings, now 30 years after their first wedding, they are back together and happier than ever, no harm meeting up with him for a drink, what is the worst that can happen Ness, unless it was an abusive relationship in which case stay the hell away from him

Go for it Ness, and like Cherie said as long as he wasn't abusive,what have you got to lose ? Things happen for a reason,this could be good for you,dont miss opportunities to be happy ,and there is no pressure for you to do anything other than what you want to do.

Let's just say it's complicated. A lot happened between us that I don't really want to remember. That doesn't mean we didn't have some happy times as well.

There's a difference between holding a grudge and learning from mistakes and not putting yourself into bad situations again though. Just be careful
