Single-handedly saved the Windsors reputation
Camilla's wink helped too

Good on her for editing a magazine, other royals have done so many times.

Nicky91 29-07-2019 06:15 PM

my mom is a huge fan of british royals, she likes Kate but she also likes Meghan

sleleen 29-07-2019 06:19 PM

Amy Jade 29-07-2019 06:24 PM

PIERS MORGAN: Me-Me-Meghan’s shamelessly hypocritical super-woke Vogue stunt proves she cares more about promoting herself than the Royal Family or Britain

wo months ago, Meghan Markle was reportedly ‘too busy caring for her baby’ to meet the President of her own country on his state visit to the UK.

Now we discover she was in fact preoccupied with the birth of another elitist production – Vogue magazine.

News that Meghan has spent the past seven months guest-editing the September issue of Vogue is no surprise to me. As a B-list actress, she’s probably craved all her adult life to be a Vogue star.

News that Buckingham Palace has let her do it is a big surprise though, because Meghan is now supposed to be a member of the royal family and not a publicity-craving celebrity.

And being a royal means you stay out of politics.

Agree LT she's no Kate and never will be ,Kate oozes class .. The Queen must be utterly sick of all the things Miss Up Her Arse Meghan thinks she can do just because she wants to, Harry needs to get his balls back from her and tell her she cannot do just what she wants, she must follow Royal rules as they all must

She wasn't so classy when she was flashing her arse at the boys. :hee: But that's excused because you don't have an irrational hatred of Kate.

I reckon the Queen loves both of their wives and the little families they've created. More than most she recognises how things must change. She's probably proud as punch they've both married such intelligent and strong women.

Especially given the state Charles made of his marriages.

I don't think I've heard Kate speak for years tbh.... :/

That article reads like a right wing snowflake desperate for reasons to be upset. The whole 'Boris has such a diverse cabinet and she's highlighted NONE of them!!!' spiel sounds like something a scorned teenager would say.

Laughable journalism and the right being fragile as always.

Piers playing to the home crowd then? I'm not even going to waste time reading his drivel to be honest.

That's just Piers Morgan being a whiny bitch boy and throwing a mantrum as per usual.

Erm, the royal family have never been politically neutral..ever in my life. Maybe before that, not for a while!

The demand for them to be neutral only seems to come from the right wing whenever the Royal Family doesn't act in their interests, strangely enough.

Mantrum? haha! I'm nicking this...Soldier boy you have been warned :hehe:

Kizzy 29-07-2019 09:56 PM

I've often wondered if the queen ever reads the papers at the lack of police, austerity, schools and hospitals in crisis, food banks and homelessness then picks up the phone and says to the PM.... What the feck are you doing you useless set of basts!!? These are my subjects.... how dare you treat them like this!!

But she probably doesn't :( someone should give her a paper, if she knew I'd bet she'd go ape on their asses.

The Duchess of Sussex’s issue of the magazine also includes a telling insight to her personal passions, from charity Smart Works to Commonwealth fashion designers and an article on “how to ride out the hurts of social media”.

In a piece about SmartWorks, one of her patronages, the Duchess disclosed she had asked Marks & Spencer, John Lewis, Jigsaw and her designer friend Misha Nonoo to design a capsule collection of workwear.

It will be sold on a “one for one” basis, with an item donated to the charity for every one bought. Further details will be released in the autumn.

A “wellness” page about the power of breathing notes that “breathing too much or too little, in any situation, will limit performance and have negative effects on health”, and advertises a £4,398 workshop to help. :umm2:

"The Duchess also includes a “personal favourite” poem by Matt Haig, written about body confidence from the perspective of a beach which advises: “Let it all wash over you. Allow yourself to be just as you are.”

Likely to be interpreted in part as the Duchess’ own views on heeding external criticism, it includes the line: “I am a beach. I literally don’t give a *******”.
