I can understand the hate for Lewis F but to be fair comparing him to the likes of Lotan and Connor is absurd. He was the big time character of his series and he delivered, like helen delivered for 15 and Jade for BB3.

:laugh: Tbf not the best person to compare him but in all fairness, helen is an awful person but she was memorable and by the end of that series i didnt mind whether it was her or ashleigh as they were by far the most memorable from that series.

I sort of get this. For me it just didn’t have much of a ‘BBUK’ feel to it; even when I’ve listened to the BB theme tune it just doesn’t feel RIGHT.

Maybe because it didn’t air in summer idk

Well I mean it matched the basic format of BBUK moreso than any other C5 series, the only difference being the gamechanger and the viewer nom.

2 or more HM’s with the most noms are up and VTE. That’s the basic format of BBUK and no C5 series had that format bar BB19. So I don’t really know what you’re on about tbh.

The viewer nom was bloody crap! The game changer could have been good but the whole ‘game playing’ theme didn’t really work cos it’s impossible to ‘play a game’ in the UK format unless you’re allowed to talk about noms, which they weren’t so the whole theme was pointless!

i hated it while watching it and forgotten about it afterward. Sian was pretty much the saving grace most of the series, too bad she got barely any airtime

I just realised how good it was

I'm on about the fact that they based a random VTS from the public each week plus this game changer thing every single week which no other series has. The series was very much against the basic premise of nominating people and the ones with the most votes are the only ones facing the public vote. All the Ch5 series had many twists but they still basically related back to how nominations work usually. CBB22 finished only like less than a week before BB19 aired as well and that series was praised for being back to basics. There was also this long-running stigma against the show that it wasn't following the formula it normally is. And every year viewers had that same promise only for it to be tarnished. And BB19 was frankly the worst offender of this since... BB18.

Sian is so overrated, I don't get her hype at all.

BB19 never promised it would revert to “the normal format” or “back to basics.” Not once. They said there would be a consistent format, and normal noms/2HM’s with the most noms facing eviction, a weekly viewer nom and a weekly gamechanger all fulfilled this promise. BB19 was also advertised as having “mind games”, and again the viewer nom fulfilled this promise as it caused paranoia amongst several HM’s. It was stated throughout the series that CBB22/BB19 intended to mix “back to basics” with new ideas aswell, not just one or the other.

The BBUK format, at its most basic form, is weekly nominations and the 2 HM’s with the most noms face eviction. THAT is the BBUK format at its simplest. BB19 has this format, as well as additions such as the viewer nom and gamechanger (as it had been on air for 18 years so needs to change sometimes, stated by Emma.) This is what they meant by mixing old/new BBUK together and therefore they stayed true to their word

Ok the moment Anamelia got evicted is when I knew it was going to be one of the worst seasons ever. And 46 days later the season ended and i was completely right!
