Free Fish and chips on a Friday for all next please.

Crimson Dynamo 15-11-2019 07:39 AM

just a thought but in 10 years wont all wifi be free, as it seems that is where the market is going as its more of a given these days than a benefit. i mean the b and bs that have a sign saying free wifi look so dated and quaint?

Travelodge will still be trying their "half an hour" nonsense, the stingy bastards

The Slim Reaper 15-11-2019 08:04 AM

Tories nearly doubled the historical national debt in 9 years, and yet no one ever asks them what they've done with the money or how they are going to pay for stuff.

No. OP made the point about paying for it, so it's completely relevant to the thread. You knew that already.

Crimson Dynamo 15-11-2019 08:30 AM

i feel this is like Labour 10 years ago promising "FREE DATA FOR ONE AND ALL" only for 10 years after and its a given and costs you nowt

it reminds me of Doctor Evil and his 1 MILLION DOLLARS ransom

Yes Labour might do that
fund it from Google Tax.

Cherie 15-11-2019 09:42 AM

Any party who has a manifesto promise that requires two terms in office is not going to deliver....manifesto promises should be carried out in the term, otherwise its too easy to say oh we got kicked out and didn't have enough time to deliver on our pledge

Yes Labour McDonnell MP said he can not do it in 5 years
so 2030 is the date.

Its Wrong as before now
Labour did say 5 year term on their pledges.

Free McDonalds for every Labour voter!

I watched Kingman again a couple of nights ago and Samuel L Jackson offers free Wi-Fi and phone calls “For everyone, forever.”. Samuel L. Corbyn.... hmmmm.... it's not the same.

This thread isn't about Bojo. Remember what a fuss you make when someone mentions Corbyn in what you believe is an unrelated thread?

Beso 15-11-2019 10:28 AM

Oh..well I guess this is all the uks problems solved in one pledge....what a pointless exercise.

I was making the bojo point to you actually re promises that take longer to deliver than one term. It seems both parties are doing it

There's time to put legislation in place to ensure it happens whoever comes after.

I'll look forward to seeing the bills go through that deliver all those hospitals promised then.

As for my opinion on free WiFi never before have I seen hand wringing and lamenting 'won't someone please think of the shareholders' its a tibb first.
