“God’s judgment is coming, just as his word said it would come in the Last Days,” Bakker said. “Why is man so livid about global warming? Why? Why do you think people in America—do you know what? They want to have people arrested that don’t believe that global warming is what they are saying it is. Do you understand me. Wake up everybody.” “I’ve studied global warming, and we’ve had periods of warming before,” he added. “God is going to send judgment, he already has, he’s already begun … Global warming is the world’s excuse that God wasn’t in the storm. I’m going to prove to you God’s in the storm, God’s in the rain, God’s in the wind, it’s God’s storm, it’s God’s wind, it’s God’s lightening.” https://www.rightwingwatch.org/post/...arent-upon-us/ |

It actually does quote in the Bible that in the end days wars will be rife between the West and Middle East, fire and floods will rain down on us and and disease and pestilence will come,so whether you believe or not it doesn't seem very far from the truth in these dangerous times, even people that scoff at these things must know the world is pretty unhinged at the moment.

I once read an 'on this day' article in the Yorkshire evening post, it was from I think 1904... not exact on that but it was around then. It was about the fitting of filters to factory and mill chimneys, the owners didn't want to pay for it and the government wouldn't so it never happened.
How different would life have been in those days had they done that? I really wish I'd have kept that now as at the time I thought wow! This is massively significant :/ |
