And what specific age would you put on that?

30's tbh. The idea that it's 18 or 21 is flat-out hilarious :joker:. But yeah I've only started to grow up (slightly) in the last few years and I'm 34. The same applies to most people my age that I know, so I have to go with 30.

For some people it's never. I mean look at LT, ****ing manbaby.

Either way it’s definitely not 18.

How many roads must a man walk down before you can call him a man?

QIXL: The panel are played the lyric: "How many roads must a man walk down", from Bob Dylan's Blowin' in the Wind, and are asked how much road should a five-year-old boy walk down before he becomes a man. On average, a boy ought to walk 15,000 steps per day. That totals to 35,500 miles between their 5th and 18th birthdays. There are just under 250,000 miles of road in the UK, so in the UK the boy should aim to walk down one seventh of all British roads by the time you are 18.

QIXL Tangent: Sandi asks how many roads must a man walk down before he admits he is lost. Only 6% of men surveyed said they would ask for directions or consult a map after realising they're lost. The average man drives an extra 900 miles while lost during their lifetime, which is slightly longer than the distance between Land's End to John o' Groats (874 miles).

You're welcome,. Marshy.

How many skies must a white dove sail before he sleeps in the sand

I don't know LOL.... It's funny because I watched this particular show on Dave just a few days ago.

Depends if it's a leafy burb or an inner city on a Saturday night where he has to dodge over the combined stream of piss from three drunk women up an alley with their arses pressed up against the wall. That **** will age you quickly.

All the roads between Sydney and Toronto. Barefoot.

Morgan. 07-01-2020 02:19 PM

I wouldn’t say it’s a specific age, it depends on the emotional and mental maturity that he has.

Morgan. 07-01-2020 02:19 PM

The average is probably somewhere around 25

A line can be drawn somewhere though.

Twelve

Tom4784 07-01-2020 02:28 PM

Legally, I'd say 21.

In a philosophical sense? How long's a piece of string?

The legal sense isn’t up for debate and that’s been 18 for decades.

Its a meaningless question unless you determine what exactly you mean by " a man"

set some parameters and the age becomes apparent

That said I recall vividly the first time a small kid like at the shops pointed to me and said "that man there has got one" (it was a football)

ie i was called "a man"

I'm always called a gentleman. GENTLEMAN. Not a gentle boy. Have done since I was 12. Guess I developed quickly :smug:

Not Livia, Cherie and Niamh after they've missed their bus.
