If he's playing the press then good luck to him but after being a member of the BNP and forming EDL he's not in a position to act like he's so hard done by because the press arent too keen on him.

I'm unlikely to watch the speech and come away thinking 'poor Tommy. He's seems ok with being used when it suits him.

Watched another five minute, up to about 9 minutes now but struggling with it TBH. I cant take the man seriously knowing his past and that he thinks he is an actual victim. He aint, he's been willing when it suited him.

Impartiality to him only applies if he claims he's not the person who was in the BNP and started the EDL. Other wise he's nothing more than another right wing tw@t playing the victim.

So we are to believe that all 'Tommys' media is tampered with? And fair play to him in some instances that seems to be the case.
He has in essence exposed that media manipulation of facts, lies and bias exists, that said can anyone hand on heart say Corbyn isn't a victim of that too?

In relation to the grooming gangs I have to say I am on his side on this issue... YES! The mad socialist loving Corbyn supporter me.
The reason for this is the inaction to tackle the issue over time in the name of community cohesion. That was and is wrong...my opinion on that will never change. Whoever decided on that course of action, or inaction was wrong on every level.

That said, I don't feel that he is the innocent and injured party here, as being so vocal about the Koran and focusing all his energies on the Muslims of the UK he does come across if not as racist as prejudiced.

He has been elevated by nationalists as a figure that is almost saint like, and his speeches are devoured by a section of the UK that can only be described as racist thugs.
This cannot be a coincidence, he appeals to them not the rational moderate voices who are also against the same things he is...why?

Giving that speech he comes across as rational and forthright, is a far cry from the tracksuit wearing rabble rouser surrounded by very angry looking bald white men.

His speech was good, do I feel his anger is justified? In part yes, do I agree with him or his views no.

Bit further in, but I find I cannot go more than a few minutes before I'm questioning something he's said. He claims he was only ever against Radical Islam. SO how did EDL get the Islamophobic tag? He needed to clear that up and he hasnt.

This is the big problem with him giving rah rah speeches. Too much history for him to make a statement then simply move on to another topic.

He says he was 'Instantly' accused of racism when he starting talking about grooming gangs. Instantly? Come on Tommy lad. Maybe it was his affiliation with the BNP and EDL that made people question his motives. :shrug:
