We really need to bump the age of consent up to 18, grown people have no business getting into relationships with people who are still in secondary school.

The situations aren't really comparable, there's a difference between a groupie seeking to meet a rock star for sex, and someone just happening to have an instagram. Jagger had no way of knowing her age, while the SNP guy knew the kid was 16.

16 may seem creepy but it's the age of consent but it seems more creepy as his own son is a teenager, I think 16 is still a kid and still young , but you get 16 year olds sleeping with adults in their 30's & 40's .

Well good luck on the age of consent being raised ! , For a long time the age of consent has been 16 and I can't see it budging . I've always found it too young aswell.

This is why people get annoyed as you can have sex at 16 , join the army and get married with parents permission yet you can't drink or vote . Seems like contradiction :facepalm: .
