One dead already in Kent - sea killed him

Not the best idea to go swimming in the sea to show how tough you are.
Now his family are devastated at such a careless and idiotic act.

We were out 'n' about in the car today, not much wind etc. but a TONNE of flooding on the roads. A few closed roads and we went down a few that probably should have been closed :umm2:.

Kids love hitting the big puddles though.

• Communities could be completely cut off by floodwater, perhaps for several days

Prolonged, heavy rain will continue until mid-morning, easing slowly into the middle of the day. This rain will bring event totals to between 100 and 140mm over higher ground in south Wales.
