I think they were right not to air it last night (as she only died yesterday) and tonight as a mark of respect. It would have been so hard for the team specially Ian to get back to doing the show. I still fear that Ian will have a really tough time as his role as narrator is to be quirky and full of comedic sayings. It is so hard to do this when your heart is broken. We will have to wait and see

Maybe they will get someone else on for the last few programs and let him do the final ?

What’s that funny guy called who does the spoof Apprentice interviews before the start of each new series ?
He’d called Matt something or other .

...the production team will have to put together a tribute for Caroline...with how personally emotional this will be for them, I think giving them another 24hours to prepare for it is very appropriate and fitting...for themselves but also to focus a fitting tribute...I imagine it to be extremely emotional for us...and much more so for all of the team and all who knew her personally, obviously...

So true.

Not really the point. It was Caroline's show. Cancelling it for the weekend is hardly a "snivelling wreck". She's been dead barely 24 hours.

All I'm saying is don't go over the top. They already did their mark of respect by cancelling it last night, we saw and accepted that gesture from them. There isn't a need for it again, really. I don't see the positive in it.

If I’m honest I don’t see Iain continuing with the show after this series.

I don't see the issue.

If people can't go without the show for just 2 nights (which I believe is actually only ONE regular episode) then that is their problem.

Not really a problem, because we'll see the show eventually. More a nuisance.

Given the circumstances, not really a major nuisance. Crass to complain about it really.

As far as I'm aware, it's the main show, but my guess is there'll probably also be some kind of tribute on Aftersun too.

Since its not shown on Saturday am I right in assuming they have Fridays OFF hence no show on Saturday. Then Saturday they film for Sunday nights episode. Since they all would only have found out on Saturday I don't suppose any of the crew were up to filming...which is why last nights show didn't air.
