Pilgrim has so many meanings and connotations. The [what I assume] church bell kind of signals more of a religious element to the term pilgrim possibly?

Could even be Pilgrims/Puritans/Thanksgiving etc.

Could be a fake name for filming.

I'm pretty sure that they use different names for the series when they film, or at least they are working titles. I remember reading it somewhere that Hotel, Roanoke and Apocalypse had different tiles.
