Hello/Hi! + their name.

Pretty much just this or even just a "yoooo" if it's like someone I'm close to but haven't seen in a bit. The what's up is implied :fan:

Usually a "hey what's up / how's it going" to people I don't know much/at all

If anyone said "what's up" to me, I would say either "the sky" or "the ceiling"

I see the youngsters today around my neck off the woods, and they greet their friends by saying "easy, brother" bunch of oddballs if you ask me.

I heard two old boys say that on weds in Fife

They also say to anyone who visits the auction after a break

"oh look who it is, fck me when did yoo get oot?" (implying they have been in the jail)

"Awrite" or "wits happening"

Obviously depending on the circumstances

Makes me feel a bit awkward though when they reply 'y'alright' too though. And makes me feel a tit when I answer someone who says it like that too! :joker:

I tried to train myself out of it a few years back, to just say hello based on social anxiety of getting stuck in a roundabout of alrights...however it turns out, when I try to say hello...its all singsongy and weird. So that ended..

Well now with the coronavirus virus, more people are too scared to even shake hands anymore .

Tbf it's kind of gross shaking someone's hand anyway with the Coronavirus or not

Fgs :rolleyes: just wash your hands , and if you can still get your hands on sanitisers in shops then use those aswell .

I mean you're not exactly going to rush to the bathroom when you're in the middle of the street after seeing someone to wash your hands or get the sanitizer out as soon as they've turned their back :skull:

Actually people who have hand sanitisers on them use them even Infront of people , impractical Jokers sal volcano has OCD and he kept using hand sanitisers every time he shook someone's hand at meet and greets.

I personally would be more discreet about it though :joker: .
