I lost my appetite today, Saturday and Sunday I was hungry.

But today I’ve lost my sense of taste and I kept coughing when I ate last night, it was like the food was itching my throat.

do everything according to procedure, properly wash your hands


and some things to do in self isolation, maybe few board games, or a puzzle, word puzzle

or a nice movie marathon, for distraction

also hope you got good stash of vitamin A, vitamin C which is never bad to have couple more of those in times like this

I'm not a doctor but I'd honestly say that this doesn't even sound like you have Covid. You've mentioned vomitting, loss of appetite and scratchy throat... none of those are symptoms. Either you have it AND something else (which isn't impossible) or you don't have it at all. I'm not saying quit self-isolating, but I wouldn't worry too much about having it.

I think it could be a bug. I've had something similar before. Loss of appetite, vomiting and fever. No cough. :think:

Sounds like food poisoning. Not surprising given all that much you're eating.

I won't eat any more takeaway's. I'm pretty sure it's what made me sick recently. From now on, if I want pizza I'll make it myself.

You first said you had symptoms 5 days ago, if you don't have severe symptoms and are still generally OK you're going to be fine even if it is Covid. In fact I'd be hoping it IS Covid since you'll be well in a week and probably immune.

They said last night that one of the little tell tale symptoms of Coronavirus is that you lose your sense of smell and taste ..
