Yeah see how it just went unnoticed. But when Jamar says something it's instant ejection

Another one - last year's winner

The way the likes of Frankie Grande and Spencer Clawson get to survive the ejection hammer but this guy doesn't, electric chair.

Not an Alexandra type ejection.

Calderyon 17-03-2020 10:02 PM

They should have just given warning/final warning to him and Kyle after questioning both of them and Vanessa. Or introduce a strike system (3 strikes and you're out) like in BBAUS and give both of them a strike. After that give them a party if necessary to lessen stress and anxiety.

Case closed and the game can continue on.

JerseyWins 17-03-2020 11:25 PM

Sooo soooo soooo LAME how they eject him for that :bored: BBCAN is soft for that. Give him a warning or something, not an ejection :skull:

I guess I can still root solely for The Evictors+Hira now but still this will most likely be a season ruiner!

Well he said that another Housemate was gonna pop it so that is doing something wrong.

Imo though it's more of a warning offence.

Did he say ‘I’m gonna shoot you’? No.

People make gun gestures all the time on BB and no one ever questions it. Heck, the edit even uses gunshot sounds. This is purely just singling out Jamar and making an example of him.

The big difference there is that the other Housemates aren't making out that their fellow competitors are gonna get shot while making gun gestures at them.

Imo it's Jamar's fault that he has been ejected, not racism.

But we can excuse those cases Hayden posted regarding Dillon and Dane? It’s just plain and simple racial micro-aggressions but it seems people aren’t ready for that conversation.

Personally all three of them should've received the same punishment, I agree with you on that.

Personally I'd favour giving Jamar, Dillon, and Dane warnings for their comments (and it is bizarre that Jamar's case has been singled out by the Canadian production over the other two) but in fairness I just don't think that Jamar or his supporters can cry foul too much here as he did make the comment and the Production have every right to throw him out for making the comment, the same can be said for Dillon and Dane in their years as well.

If there is racism involved from the Production (although three other ethnic Housemates have not even come close to being thrown out) then Jamar made it easy for the Production to be racist because in fairness he did break the rules, even in the eyes of the law Jamar wouldn't have a leg to stand on here if he were to try and sue the show for an unfair dismissal (I'm not saying that he is gonna try to sue the show) but in a hypothetical scenario where Jamar has tried to do that, he would lose as the show is technically within their rights to make sure that all of their Housemates feel safe.

I get that Jamar was a popular Housemate, but his comment towards Kyle shouldn't be being turned into a racism argument imo, Jamar made the comment, he isn't a victim of racism imo like some of the ethnic Housemates have been in the past.

Calderyon 18-03-2020 08:12 AM

Both Dillion and Dane should have been ejected or at least gotten a serious warning for those comments.

DrunkerThanMoses 18-03-2020 08:20 AM

I don’t recall the Dane and dillion ones at tbh but they should have been removed as well then if going by standards of what happened to jamar

Maybe this one is more serious as Jamar actually said it to kyles face while the other two didn’t so the person they said it about didn’t know they said it. Kyle knows he said it so can complain if he wants.

That's called moving the goalposts. Plus, Dallas definitely heard Dillon say it as he responded in that clip.

Morgan. 18-03-2020 11:16 AM

And not gonna lie, beating someone up is more of a threat than a gun in the big brother house because I’m not sure on what they’re allowed to pack but I’m pretty sure a gun is not allowed.

Mandie 18-03-2020 02:07 PM

I'm shocked that BBCAN wouldn't want to keep any players in who are interesting. With everything going on and everyone in isolation, you would think more people would be watching, especially with no sports on etc.

I'm not saying what he did was ok or not - just saying they have an opportunity here and need to keep the show as entertaining as possible...aka not like last year

RileyH 18-03-2020 03:29 PM

Absolutely ridiculous

Kyle may be a crackhead brute, but he can clearly hold his own when it comes to confrontation.. without stepping over a line. We saw him chew up Michael and his pathetic attempt to "out him"..and now we've seen him run rings around a silly wannabe gangsta kid. Make no mistake, this is exactly what Kyle was after. Knowing the volatile idiot he was up against, he simply behaved in a way which he knew would rile the immature fool into crossing a line with his gangsta threats. Had it not been that day he achieved his goal, it would've been another day. The silly boy didn't even have enough composure or smarts about him to not only refuse to play into his hands, but to actually plot a constructive course that would ensure the demise of his goading savage. Nobody should have any sympathy for such a fool.

As for similar incidents and blatant hypocrisy, there's no point burying your head and pretending it doesn't exist. It's obvious there remains a privilege that whites have over blacks. For when they're selling Dane as the "loveable rogue", Dillon as the "big friendly giant" etc.. it takes much more severe behaviour from these types before expulsion is ever considered.

Having said that, let's not forget that this particular incident was brewed up over a considerable period of time. This wasn't just a "heat of the moment" word or line that came from his mouth during a 1on1 argument. Or words said about someone behind their back. There was sustained aggression shown throughout that sitdown meeting. Standing up stomping around with his hood raised, acting like a crazed hopper from the ghetto, muttering pointing a 45 in Kyle's face, which eventually led to direct threats of using a deadly weapon against him. In itself, the crazed hopper, tough guy gangsta demeanour was nowhere close to grounds for expulsion, but add the direct threats with a deadly weapon on top of them(with the multiple times he said Kyle's "muscles wouldn't help him" on the outside).....this was hardly a "shocking", "unjust" decision. And in this case, we can say the colour of skin is irrelevant. Black on white, black on black, white on black, or white on white, the same behaviour from anyone would've almost certainly had the exact same outcome.

Good for you for proving your point in the very next paragraph?

Pro Sniper 18-03-2020 05:38 PM

Confused about what privilege truly means?..or how far its boundaries reach?

Morgan. 18-03-2020 05:40 PM

In other news the fandom have raised £3.5k to be given directly to Jamar in support of him

The bbcan past houseguests are also supporting Jamar and don't agree with his ejection.

Pro Sniper 18-03-2020 06:02 PM

Yes, you can always rely on morons to herd together and feed the greed of a crappy "gofundme" account..in an absurd effort to enrich the poor "hard done by" stranger they foolishly believe they "know"(I wonder how many 45's will he buy with it?)

Maybe the idiots can get it over 100k. That way he can laugh at the winner of the show and set the tone for future seasons. The "Jammers" way. Threaten people, get kicked out in disgrace..but receive a nice reward out of it.
