still listen to the songs anyway, then you'll understand me, i am kinda happy because i wasn't ready for possible flops among my favourites

and every artist on the line up also so charismatic, very good quality songs too

Switzerland i would recommend to older generation too, i mean 60's 70's France vibe, just purely a song

Bulgaria tears getting sober, has a Christmas vibe in its music, would recommend it to anyone listening around december too

On Topic first reaction from a artist, Israel's Eden crying over esc being cancelled

Strictly Jake 18-03-2020 01:39 PM

Anyone think we should make up for it by having eurovision week 2.0 on strictly tibb?

bots 18-03-2020 02:16 PM

confirmed

Jay28jay2 18-03-2020 03:38 PM

This is so upsetting, I'm just glad to see some of the 2020 artists confirm they are returning next year. It is completely understandable as to why they cancelled. I'd be mad though if all of the songs were scrapped and they didn't use the ones they would this year, it would've been a waste.

Wizard. 18-03-2020 03:39 PM

So sad but then all the songs I heard so far this year weren't great. It's a shame but hopefully they'll come back with stronger songs.

Jay28jay2 18-03-2020 03:41 PM

Also, not us having to wait 2 more years for Dani Im to return for Australia Decides (I wouldn't be surprised if she just won by simply participating/internally selected despite Australia Decides being greenlit for another 5 years?)

Black Dagger 18-03-2020 05:17 PM

I'm absolutely gutted but it was inevitable.

People at work didn't understand why I was so sad but Eurovision opened so many doors for me, helped me grow in confidence and travel by myself as well as gifting me some life long friends who got me through a rough break up last year by having an amazing party on the night of the final. It's been a part of my life for so long and it feels empty this year.

I know it's back next year tho so sorry for being over dramatic x

Despite under a new name (TiBB Music Festival), yes Livia. TiBB Eurovision is still happening (because we're all at home self-isolating).

Josiah. 18-03-2020 06:52 PM

I'm also really sad, but I've heard that they are trying to have all of this year's songs eligible for next year.

Mystic Mock 18-03-2020 08:58 PM

First Birmingham City's game against West Brom gets cancelled on the Football, and now Eurovision gets cancelled, that's the final straw!:nono::joker:

Will any fun TV be happening this year?:joker:

I definitely understand the decision, but it's getting frustrating to see so many changes because of the Chinese Government's soft approach to stopping their people eating raw Meat.

artists deserve a second chance next year, but new songs then

I would've loved to have known how Italy and Lithuania would've done though.

Oh well.

bots 19-03-2020 06:16 AM

i'm sure they will keep the songs they were going to perform this year and use them when the next one happens
