Yeah, that series of Love Island has already aired here on a different channel last year I think, so BB is doing quite well.

Greg! 17-06-2020 04:54 PM

It’ll probably flop tonight bc the episode isn’t exactly a classic. Not sure what C4 was thinking when they chose this ep. Maybe it will be good though idk, never seen that series so I’m going into it with an open mind

I think it was Davina and Rylan's choice tbh. Likely Davina based on the preview that was posted.

Greg! 18-06-2020 06:35 PM

Lol... to be expected really though with that crap episode. Hopefully it will rebound tonight. It's doing well on All4 which I guess is a good sign? (It's number 1 atm)

Firewire 19-06-2020 06:32 PM

At least it climbed lol

Is that good or bad compared to E4's average?

Slot average for E4 is something like 264k which it’s beaten every day so far.

They’re not incredible ratings by any means but I doubt Channel 4 was expecting anything too extraordinary given that it’s essentially a set of quite awkwardly edited repeats from 20 years ago in some cases.

*mazedsalv** 22-06-2020 05:27 PM

1.09m incl +1 for the first episode. I believe it was the highest multichannel rating for the entire week!

Jake. 22-06-2020 05:43 PM

That’s really impressive. Pretty sure there wasn’t a single BB19 episode which reached that.

rusticgal 22-06-2020 06:04 PM

Which one is on Tonight?

It was over 1 million! and with a 5.1% share it is now E4's most watched non-scripted show in 3 years :clap1:

Jodie. 23-06-2020 01:56 PM

Right I don’t know how anyone can deny that Channel 4 Aren’t atleast HEAVILY CONSIDERING a revival Xx

Overnights are the main factor in whether a show gets renewed or not for all channels other than BBC because advertising isn't the same on catchup

Firewire 23-06-2020 02:31 PM

Sunday - 287k
Monday - 361k

That doesn't mean they aren't advertised at all though. Virtually half of love island's ratings come from catch up and I'm sure itv2 are just fine with that.
