She’s such a talented woman, I saw her in The Bodyguard and she was phenomenal, seemed like a lovely woman as well

I think it was her behaviour that pissed people off....she was good and she knew it but week in and week out with all the praise she got was met with fake disbelief...it was nauseating.

I can understand how racism could've manufactured itself in the way that both XF and Strictly are produced, and this is sadly the terrible reality of the treatment of several POC (more notably on XF). I'm not speaking for how she is/may be as a person, as I haven't really followed her post-XF, yet no matter how 'fake' she is/people perceive her to be, there is no denying in the fact that her experiences with racism on both shows, which she outlined on her live, should never have happened in the first place, regardless of the opinion of the GBP.
