Well done Andrew Marr
had the Prime Minister on for 27mins.

https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2021/01...9668401920.jpg

He asked at the end
is Johnson going to stay on as PM,
Johnson said "Yes."

Next Sunday it's the Labour Leader.

Well he was hardly going to say he wouldn't.

That would start a continuous speculation of who would be next leader and PM.

However if he sees the next election going badly for him, even to just hung parliament status.
Then he isn't going to want that and be seen as a loser.

He'll want to be going out on a high and in my view his only real high came in December 2019.

Then any open and public inquiry into covid and his and his government's handling of it in parts, he'll likely dread totally.

Yes but that is years away.

There's near 4 to go before the next election arista.

Once the virus is more contained and things safer, then he'll know what's going to likely surface against him and his Ministers.

A lot of organisations and people, particularly families of lost loved ones waiting to get their day.
Which IS coming.

I still think he'll resign, by choice or otherwise, and Rishi Sunak will be PM wothin a year or two.

I don't really care for Martin, I much preferred Leo leading the Republic of Ireland.

Liz Truss annoys me, she rarely says much I agree with and on a petty point I know, always looks like she's got a horrible smell under her nose.

So another miss on Marr for me, I rarely watch his programme anyway now.
He comes across ignorantly biased.

Really dislike Micheāl as well. Personally think Mary Lou would make the best Taoiseach

He gave a fair interview.

Cherie 31-01-2021 11:31 AM

I like Marr, find his line of questioning fair and not biased at all, he gives equal grilling to all parties imo

I don’t know much about him but he handled some awkward questioning well I thought
