That's just reminded me of the webisodes. I loved them. You should watch them Marc.

Next up is Eloise, who should have been used more I reckon, especially as her younger self after/before she killed her Son. She had the potential to be a really interesting character but I found myself never really caring during most of her scenes.

Lost: Missing Pieces

They aired between seasons 3 and 4. They're not hugely important but they were pretty good.

The suddenness of her death really surprised me, however, and it was actually pretty hilarious! Artz (honourable mention) did blowing up better though

Stuff like this is what really irritated me about the show. They knew the exact number of seasons/episodes they had to tell their story and they still didn't bother planning any sort of arc, so you had characters like Ilana introduced late on and taking time away from the main cast who they then say they "ran out of time" to develop? Despite them knowing how long they had. And main characters were written out/killed off to make space for brand new characters that did nothing.

The show span its wheels far more in seasons 5 and 6 than it ever did in 1-3.

Speaking of characters with wasted potential. It looked like Walt was being set up to be a huge part of the story, what with his flashbacks revealing he had some sort of 'ability', but if I remember correctly, that was just never explored again? Anyway, I had a lot of time for Walt, mainly because he wasn't your typical annoying little shit kid ~side eyes season 1-2 Carl from TWD~ I guess maybe the reason he was never kept around long was because production would have preferred to keep the character the same age but obviously the actor had other ideas, so yeah, I'm not sure. His relationships with Vincent and Locke were great and the one with Michael was a refreshingly realistic portrayal of a distant Father & Son coming to terms with being in each other's lives. I'd like to think Walt went on to live a happy life :)

Frogurt still in the running!

Withano 30-10-2020 09:36 PM

Jack last. Hated that conceited xunt

Babayaro. 30-10-2020 09:37 PM

Spoiler:

Frogurt doesn't make the cut but Jack does x

Ramsay 30-10-2020 09:41 PM

Depressed beard jack in the later seasons >>>

Ramsay 30-10-2020 09:42 PM

Excellent character development when he becomes locke pretty much

You need to watch the epilogue, which tells you what became of Walt.

It's called New Man in Charge.

A hint for #37: I bet Scott would want to fuck him or something

Fuck me, what a BORE. For being one of the most important characters of the series, the writers did a good job of making him completely bland and void of personality. Or was that the point?! I don't even know. Anyway, Jacob just bored me to death and I literally did not care about his story at all. Even his death was dull as hell. Goodbye.

I'm suddenly remembering the hilarity when the actress referred to her as Ilana Radzinsky in an interview and the Lostpedia forum went crazy thinking she'd spoiled a twist that she was Radzinsky's daughter

Marsh. 08-11-2020 04:24 PM

Wasn't she supposed to be Jacob's daughter? But then at the last minute they decided they didn't have enough time to do anything with her so killed her. :umm2:

Almost like they didn't have 3 years of knowing exactly how much time they had to tell their own story. :worry:

Yeah pretty much :joker: it's a shame, she was one of multiple characters with lots of intrigue and potential unceremoniously dropped. I'm still annoyed about Abaddon and Ms Klugh (especially the former because he actually seemed important and Lance Reddick is awesome).

Actually, on the subject of wild fan theories, I remember people thinking he was a grown up time traveling Walt

Mikhail was an intriguing character who I found fleshed out enough. However, he is this low because in the grand scheme of things, he wasn't really that important lol. His death (and in turn, Charlie's) was ridiculous lmao, idk it just looked stupid seeing him appear next to the window after having already been shot (??).

Before watching, I had no idea that Michelle Rodriguez was in the show, so I was pleasantly surprised to see her pop up in season 2! Ana Lucia was a dick to begin with but the more we got to know her due to the flashbacks and when she joined the rest of the survivors, she was beginning to become a pretty useful addition to the group. And then Michael ****ing killed her LOL. I must say, that this death was brilliantly shocking, as was Shannon's, who Ana Lucia killed. So fair play to the writers for that. I remember reading that Michelle Rodriguez only had a short one season-contract?? I could be wrong. Anyway, a decent enough character who was killed off just as they were becoming interesting.

Pierre Chang
"On behalf of the De Groots, Alvar Hanso, and all of us at the DHARMA Initiative, thank you. Namaste and... good luck."

For a while, Dr Chang was an intriguing figure on the show, thanks to the well-wishes he left those watching the DHARMA tapes. When we finally meet him properly, we find out that he's a bit of an arsehole. He lived and breathed the island and soon after, the viewers are told that he is Miles' Father, which I thought was a nice little twist, albeit a predictable one. I wish the show focused more on their relationship, but instead, it was kind of just brushed to the side (imagine our shock :omgno:). Anyway, I liked Pierre and I had to google if he died or not, and it turns out that he was killed during the purge when Ben poisons all of the DHARMA members :(
