We’re a hell of a lot richer than most countries still, there is no excuse for the need of food banks and food charities in a highly advanced, 1st world country like this one, it’s a disgrace, charities shouldn’t have to subsidise the governments responsibilities because they can’t stop being heartless bastards

...there’s a reason why we’re not a ‘rich country’ then, if we disregard our children in a such a way../...our government...our children are our riches...

You can ask a Charity to assist your School.

Depends what job you are going for..

If you just need a job for cash...any cash..cash to feed a starving child..I would imagine you just go through one interview.

...sending the voters of the future to a charity to eat...and this is why we’re not a rich country, Arista...and never will be...

The government paid out £522 million to get people eating Nando’s and Wagamama’s again, let’s not with the “we’re not rich enough” argument.

This government actually sickens me. Imagining voting against making sure that disadvantaged children got fed.

Imagine having kids and thinking that someone else has to go to work and pay for them to eat because you sure can’t be bothered to.
This is all that is wrong with this country.

What’s “wrong” is you assuming that every child who needs a free school dinner is from a non-working family.

...one young person whose life could not be further removed from poverty in his lifestyle has more insight into child hunger and child poverty than the entire government who are serving us...and it can’t be seen how totally and fundamentally broken that is...children are the only future that any of us have..they’re the only future government, they’re the only future voters, they’re the only future everything ...

...and their return to school...?...I mean the whole very point of that was how important their education was ...how their learning could not continue as fragmented as it was...and the government looked us all right in the eyes when they said that, Boris did/...that we need to think of the children through this pandemic..?...a child can’t and won’t learn anything if they’re hungry, they’ll neither learn nor thrive in any capacity whatsoever...they’ll just exist in their hunger....


...it’s staggering...those people who voted no, staggering...their heads forever should be hung in shame...

...you have ‘zones’ when it’s about not feeding a child...

...it’s always ‘the other man’ that’s the way forward, Arista...so long as ‘the other man’ is prepared to take that responsibility...we can’t take ‘immigrants’ because we’re far too busy caring for our homeless..?..we do such a great job in feeding and sheltering them, don’t we...?..obviously we don’t though, because the nice charity people will take care of that...so instead, we can focus on the children in poverty who aren’t eating anything even close to a healthy meal each day...that’s where we’ll put our attention...?...oh wait, though...can’t the nice charity people take care of them as well...

...there is no way forward in that, Arista...non whatsoever, it’s just a dead end road I’m afraid because the Charities will suffer through this all as well as the children...how could they not...and you’re wise enough to know that...

But we are Stuck in this Covid-19 Time.

Charities that help schools
is better than nothing.
