I genuinely dont know but its a car crash whoever wins i think and there will be unrest and violence.

I do think if the Democrats had put up a sack of pumpkins the pumpkins would have got the same numbers as biden

and probably done better with the media

Cherie 03-11-2020 08:28 AM

Biden I reckon, I think Trump will exit without issue as well, the idea that he will be clinging on to the frame of the door in White House is a bit far fetched I think

Strictly Jake 03-11-2020 08:33 AM

I dont even know anything about Biden I just know I dont like Trump. So I cant even say if I want Biden to win. But I do want Trump to lose. But he wont. This is 2020 and stranger things have happened I really do think he will win again

Niamh. 03-11-2020 08:42 AM

I think Biden might :fc:

Vanessa 03-11-2020 08:45 AM

I think it could go either way.

Republicans can’t be trusted, so Trump will win

user104658 03-11-2020 10:10 AM

"Realistically" Biden should win by an easy margin in a fair and open system, and would have won in any other normal US election year. So I have voted Biden.

With a caveat - Trump is a documented cheat, has observably been taking action to influence the vote, and aside from that, an election has never been held under anything resembling the current circumstances with Covid and record numbers voting by post.

So the result is wide open and may not be "realistic" at all.

There's also a large possibility of Trump winning the electoral college with the democrats having an absolutely massive margin in the popular vote, due to ridiculous circumstances in the US that sees republican states with 750,000 voters having the same voting power as Dem states with 30+ million :idc:.

I honestly think though that if a president sits in the whitehouse having lost the popular vote by 10+ million votes, which is very possible, that is a HUGE constitutional crisis for the United States. It's not a sustainable system and the country could no longer be considered a functioning democracy without electoral reform.

On that note - how ****ing funny would it be if we made Trump and Biden have an actual race? Not for the presidency, just for fun.

Biden would leave Trump in the dust despite being older, but we'd have to be careful about distance or they would probably both die.

I mean, I think it's very close. Most polls have them neck at neck.

Elliot 03-11-2020 10:40 AM

Republicans seem to be more bothered about actually voting than democrats are fsr, but even with this in mind Biden will probably win the popular vote, but in us politics that doesn’t mean sh!t. I unfortunately see trump winning

Swan 03-11-2020 10:51 AM

Realistically either could win, but Biden has it in the bag imo.

I know every one loves me talking about the betting odds, but it's pretty telling that almost 60% of the bets placed are for Trump to win, against Biden's just under 30%. Yet the bookies still have Biden as favourite, not clear favourite, but favourite nonetheless.

Cal. 03-11-2020 10:56 AM

I think Trump will win

Captain.Remy 03-11-2020 11:27 AM

I would like Biden to win but I think Trump will take it by a short margin.

Vanessa 03-11-2020 11:28 AM

It's very close. I have no idea who will win.

also more lockdown measures, face mask requirement when Biden wins, only a good thing for America, since Trump won't do anything about corona

True enough... that said there were some economists on the telly speculating that Biden will have a massively detrimental effect on their economy though ..

it won't be a close thing at all is my prediction. Biden is going to win by a landslide

All of my understanding of politics says that he SHOULD win by a landslide and yet I don't trust that he will... and really, that says a lot about the effect Trump has had on politics going way beyond his actual presidency. He's made chaos, unpredictability and political trolling business as usual, and any solid belief in a fair system seem like a fairy tale.

Smithy 03-11-2020 12:16 PM

I think/hope Biden will snatch it

The Slim Reaper 03-11-2020 12:32 PM

If Biden doesn't win by a hefty margin then I don't think he gets in, because trump and republicans have stacked the courts. An unprecedented amount of votes will be thrown out/not counted for absolutely no reason.

just pathetic to see how hardcore the love-me-do promotes himself like crazy

I think you give him way too much credit. He has a mass of indictments waiting for him and his family the minute he leaves office. I genuinely wouldn't be surprised to see him fly somewhere like Russia, and just stay there in a best case scenario.

He's been training his followers that it's impossible for him to lose legally. He definitely has a backup plan in mind.
