Pat needs to make a statement and apologies for all the mean things she said about Pegs

Niamh. 11-12-2020 09:33 AM

Ah no, what an icon, that's very sad

I never got why people liked her to be honest. I never liked her association with gangsters

It's better than actually being one though I guess and the world weeped for Mr Connery

Never got why people felt the need to share why they disliked someone after they passed. She was an 83 year old woman who had dementia, have some respect for her and yourself and just shut up.

Nothing sycophantic about having a bit of respect.

Share your opinion all you like, be prepared for people to comment on it. It is a forum after all. Choosing her death to share how you don't like someone is just gross.

So sad. RIP Babs.

An absolute legend who will be sorely missed.

This is such sad news RIP :(. I haven’t watched EE for a long time but when I was growing up, we would always sit down as a family and watch EE together during the 2000s and seeing her face always reminded me of the times we used to enjoy watching it together and how we would all look forward to the next episode.

Her passing has reminded me of some very fond memories and she played such an iconic character on the show that I will always be very grateful for.

Can't say I agree since I was happy to call Connery an abusive **** on his death thread - although in response to this one I would say, I think people should only be judged on their own actions, not the actions of the people around them/that they choose to be around.

Some of my friends are arseholes.

Oh I'm not passing comment on what people should judge or shouldn't judge. That's up to them.

It's just using the time someone has died and their condolence thread to decide to share with the world they didn't like them is just sh*tty behaviour. At least when it comes to someone who wasn't a murderer/objectively bad person themselves, as you say. Not to say they should pretend to like them or praise them, just move along.
