How is your little boy, not so little now I guess!

Hi Cherie! Unfortunately he relapsed in 2017 and had to go through treatment again, then had a bone marrow transplant in 2018. He’s doing absolutely great though
He’s definitely not a wee boy any more, he’s 14 and hormonal af

It'll be "Howdy partner" next.

Welcome back Lee.

She is Scottish Alf, let’s leave it there:joker:

Yip, quiet for us too. We’ve never spent Xmas in our own house, but it was quite nice tbh!
Back in lockdown now, so just chilling and enjoying not having to be anywhere!
It’s been a funny old year eh?

Yeah we're back in lockdown again too. I'm a bit fed up with it now tbh, the last few months especially have been tough, im just starting to feel really restricted now, not that I did loads or anything before [emoji28]

I’m the same Niamh. I LOVED lockdown over the summer, we were shielding so were only allowed in the garden, but we had a great time.
Lockdown in winter is ****e though.. we don’t go out out much but I’m missing having friends round and being able to go out for a meal (and a glass of wine with meal!)

Yeah I enjoyed summer lockdown too, I was working from home but I didn't have loads to do because we were pretty quiet, the weather was lovely and it was nice to have the break tbh. By the time we got into lockdown 2 I was going in to work but everything felt dull and restrictive, like one of my best friends had a baby in August and I've only seen him in person once

Ammi 28-12-2020 10:45 AM

...Lee......I’m so glad that Samuel’s doing ok and is able to be a difficult teen......

Yeah, that side of things sucks. Thank god for FaceTime/zoom, but it’s not the same is it?
The last time I cuddled my mum was in March!

Hi Ammi, thank you, me too tbh! We were told that given the amount of high dose chemo he’s had, he might not have gone into puberty naturally, and would need hormone injections daily, so his stinky armpits and new deep voice are more special to me than he’ll ever know
