I have. He offered me about 50 quid more than I paid for it 30 years ago so I decided not the sell to him. If he's offering me that much then is must be worth more. I'm looking into auctions. Apparently because mine is a retro version then its worth a bit more.

Things is, when I was selling my vinyl, I couldn't give it away. Same with the turntable, the pawn shop didn't want it and onw the same geezer is offering me more than I paid for it. Thank goodness it was in good condition

It's been making a steady comeback over the last 10 years, even the supermarkets have been selling vinyl over the last couple of years, thats how popular it is....

I think it's a mix of nostalgia, hipsterness, album cover artwork and some people preferring the sound quality...

I grew up at the tail end of records so I only had a few when i was a kid/early teen and then it was cassettes and Cds.. I do miss the album cover artwork/ posters and limited edition singles with rare b sides etc ... I do think investing in a decent sound is important though regardless of which medium you use...it makes a world of difference...

Vinyl is nice.

But You can not get SACD 4.1 ,5.1 ,
24bit , SHM CD, BluSpec CD
higher Quality of sound.

I have a 1975 Quincy Jones LP
but I also have the Japan 24bit CD
I can hear Extra Percussion & Keyboard instruments,
but not on the sad LP
