And besides the rotted teeth from drug abuse he was actually pretty good looking too. So scary. I can’t stop thinking about all those people he literally killed in their beds :/

The golden state killer is really awful too, the phone calls...especially the heavy breathing one when he whispers to the poor woman he'll kill her. Imagine being home alone and hearing that.

I'm gonna have to see if there's any docs on this one, sound terrifyingly interesting.

I agree Cal, it's just left me feeling "funny" since I watched it.

I went straight into the Bundy doc on Netflix after and that was just horrible too - I had NO idea he escaped TWICE and the second time for like a month where he killed again, those poor girls in the college dorms in Florida. Just insane.

Ramirez was just a complete sicko who attacked completely at random it seems - Bundy was an extremely calculating, methodical man. I don't which is more horrifying honestly.

3 episodes: "The shoe! The shoe! THE SHOE IS THE KEY!!!"
Final episode: "He binned the shoe, shoe lead came to nothing, and got caught because a random member of the public called with a tip off"

It was a good documentary, really fascinating, but I can't figure out why they put so much focus on the inconseqential shoe :joker:

(OK, yes, I can see that it was still key in linking many of the various crimes to one person, but I really thought it was going to play a bigger role in solving the case...).

TBH I reckon it was actually an owl anyway.

What an evil sadistic bastard this **** was :/

Josy 26-01-2021 05:38 PM

Also will never understand why these people end up with a fan base after the crimes they commit it's just ****ing weird and creepy

Yeah I read something like that at any one time there are around 350 active serial killers in America :/

Niamh. 26-01-2021 08:47 PM

Just finished, the most frustrating part was them missing him at the dentist. Oh and him dying of natural causes too

Cal. 26-01-2021 09:14 PM

Don’t think I’ll ever get over this

That's scary.

Also agree about his "groupies" wtf is wrong with these people, how they could sit in a court room and listen to all his victims, what he did, the people left behind and still find that monster attractive, disgusting. And that poor woman who's grandmother was murdered and she had to leave because she found listening to it all too distressing sitting next to the guy who was clearly there supporting that ogre too

Eurgh yeah I really felt bad for that woman when she said that :/ I will honestly never understand those people especially the person that married him in 96 how could you know all about his horrible crimes and the stuff he done to those kids too yet still marry him

Jordan. 27-01-2021 11:58 AM

He was repulsive inside and out. Just had such an evil look about him without even knowing about his crimes.

Cal. 27-01-2021 12:40 PM

Isn’t it an actual disorder to be attracted to criminals or something? I’m not sure. I think his teeth aside he was very visually attractive and I understand these ‘groupies’ didn’t start seeing him at the trial until he’d been in prison for a while and had gotten clean from drugs, had dental work done and was practicing better hygiene but I can’t see how you could still find somebody like that attractive after hearing about what they’d done.
