That is horrible. How trashy can you be. No wonder they left your country.

Good for them, I do hope that any press they have to do is through the US press, I hope they leave the UK media starving after how they've been treated.

Ammi 15-02-2021 05:53 AM

...I recall there was speculation that she may be pregnant a little while ago, I can’t recall exactly when that was...but the timing may be right with her bump size from that pic...a May due date might fit in with that speculation time... beautiful pic, anyway ......

No top long reaching lenses UK press
are there.

Alf 15-02-2021 08:26 AM

Daily Star wins headline of the day.

joeysteele 15-02-2021 08:30 AM

That ragStar's front page is an affront to any decency.

What kind of individuals waste hundreds of pounds a year buying that.
A total waste of paper.

Cherie 15-02-2021 08:41 AM

Meh the Star has this type of headline every day mainly about members of the Government, its par for the course

Oliver_W 15-02-2021 08:45 AM

I am utterly shocked that the Daily Star has a trashy headline!!! They're usually so respectful toward public figures.

smudgie 15-02-2021 08:51 AM

Congratulations to the happy couple, great news for them.

Last time the media were told Meghan had gone into labour hours after the baby had been born, nobody was allowed to know where she was having it or who the godparents would be, as is expected with Royal births. Which created more drama and gossip on social media and news outlets than simple straightforward announcements of course. I would think the media have her wave - making for any attention measure by now, like most of the GBP. :hee:

jet 15-02-2021 12:15 PM

Harry's hair in that pic  A full head of it when last week on the open topped bus he was Frair Tuck.

Ammi 15-02-2021 12:15 PM

...I hadn’t realised the date connection in announcing it......

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's exciting baby news is also a sweet tribute to the late Princess Diana! After months of speculation, Meghan and Harry ~finally~ confirmed that another royal is on the way. They chose Valentine's Day to make the announcement, which is cute in its own right, but it's also the same day Princess Diana announced she was pregnant with Harry.

The dates are 37 years apart, but it's evident that Meghan and Harry intentionally decided to honor Princess Di in this way. It's truly the sweetest honor and I'm definitely not crying about it...

jet 15-02-2021 12:30 PM

The milking of their royal titles and Diana for profit and sympathy is tiresome.

Ammi 15-02-2021 12:33 PM

...Diana is his mother, he adored her, that’s obvious...there is no ‘milking’ there is only them trying to keep Diana as part of their lives and part of the grandchildren’s lives that she never came to know, I would thing...it’s very touching and lovely....

LukeB 15-02-2021 12:33 PM

Congrulations to them

.

It's getting really riduclous now tbh they have just annouced something great for them and people still have to try and be negative and can't even congratulate them and move on or not say anything at all. Is it really hard to say something nice?

Lol, so she can't win either way. She either doesn't alert the press and she's considered some great manipulator or she'll get branded an attention seeker for making an announcement.

People really trip over their own (il)logical knots trying to paint things in a way to slate her.

It’s the way everyday people act like royal police. They ain’t paying you to make sure protocol is followed. Instead of living their own lives they typing up a storm over a woman they don’t know not giving birth how they want.

Who said that? A simple straightforward announcement just like Kate, or Diana, or Fergie, or Eugenie did would not be attention seeking - instead of the cloak and dagger fiasco surrounding her first baby.

Ammi 15-02-2021 12:52 PM

...why would Meghan or Harry do what others have done and how they’ve made announcements or whatever...it’s her and Harry’s life, their choice and their control...isn’t that the point and should be...

You see how you wrongly twist words....I didnt slate them for announcing the pregnancy....I slated them for the way it was done. A couple who left the country for privicy....
