My aunt (who loves David Ike...) was earnestly telling me about how the vaccine will turn everyone into communists. I tried googling this, and the nearest thing I could find was another bonkers theory that said China released the virus in order to cripple economies and make counties collapse into communism, or something?

She's pretty into this stuff so I doubt it was a misreading on her part; but being unable to even find a reference or debunking of something so obviously stupid does smell a bit fishy.

I understand that discouraging people from getting the vaccine isn't on, but neither is the wholesale shutting down of conversations .
Haha, your aunt sounds bonkers, but in a good way :D Ones like that are harmless..its when you have the more believable ones that become a bit of an issue, especially if they are so believable a large amount of people believe then spread it more. Mind, FB have for ages been countering 'non facts' with fact checkers, to do with covid stuff. They censored something I wrote months ago, I didnt question anything to do with covid really, simply questioned the effectiveness of lockdown...and got some 'facebook fact checked this post!!!' thing added onto mine!

...hang on, I need to just write that down or screenshot it and put it in a little treasure box...or maybe a time capsule...

Lucy Lawless outsold.

But yeah, he's been known to be a right wing conspiracy nut for a while now. He can flock to Parler with the rest of the crazies.

Gods not dead is Sorbos best work. It's a terrible film, but in a cringey, nails on chalkboard, almost funny kind of way.

I have to put a vote in for Andromeda honestly. Sci-fi channel mixed with dodgy Channel 5 soap opera, Sorbo running around with his barely-disguised-innuendo "force lance" and clenched jaw...

Sounds interesting, but not on the level of the cliched, angry, atheistic philosophy professor who loses a debate against his friendly, joyful, christian student, proving once and for all that god exists, before getting run over in a hit and run and asking god for forgiveness as he dies in the care of 2 christians.

It's definitely a classic, alright. The truth would love it.

Why? Does he also beat up women?

Actually that's not fair on Truth, he let a nice lady financially abuse and mercilessly cuckold him for months without so much as a word.

There is actually weird misogyny in it, but it's mostly Dean Cain of superman fame. :joker:

The faith film industry is such an oddity, but i suppose it has it's place, where else would faded TV stars of the 90's go to rinse money from some gullible christians?
