As someone who posts there regally I was quite shocked to see what DS had done but I think I know one reason why. There has been countless threads in General Discussion over the past year on Covid-19. When this pandemic started moderators kept closing Covid-19 related topics then simply gave up. They should have created a separate section for like many forums did around February 2020 when Covid-19 began.

...I don’t understand the connection to COVID threads...it’s ruled our lives for the last year and is relevant to our every days so why would threads be closed..?..do you mean, Jonathan...that a new thread was created there for every update, so almost daily...?...

...I’ve actually always liked DS tbh...it’s a completely different vibe to TiBB but that’s what makes it a great contrast to post on and BB time was always such fun there...

Probably gonna start using this more often now, although I rarely even posted in the forums that are closed but I do feel something is missing now. I like TiBB and it's my OG but DS is so much more active!!
