Look Joey
they are not Political
and will mess up.

Well in that case, if they did, they'll be in good company with all the professional politicians who MESS UP.

.....well that’s a logic that can’t be argued with for sure...

I love their political era.

Tom4784 31-03-2021 12:59 PM

Also politics affects everyone and so everyone gets a say whether you like it or not. People who act like politics isn't for everyone are just trying to exclude viewpoints they dislike, and it's immature as ****.

It's really a form of superiority and snobbery to say otherwise

...*cough* Laurence Fox is apparently appropriate for politics but those two Jedwards....no, why would they be political...

As always, celebrities (loosely applied, when it comes to Fox) are allowed to engage in politics, but only when they have a right wing view. It's only when they don't that certain groups get in a huff about their views.

...and also the guys have just recently lost their much loved mom to cancer and that’s a fairly huge life changing thing of reassessing and re-valuation of so many things in your life and wanting to put meaning into your own life, I think...(for them...)...I would say that it’s all been very much a life defining moment for them of thoughts of ’making some slight difference in the positive ’...

Imagine calling every woman in every story a slapper or a hussy, then being worried that jedward would mess up.

Very true, if they've been inspired to make a difference, then we should applaud them. We should encourage people of all walks of life to engage in politics, not tell them to stay out of it.

...yeah, as Joey said earlier as well...look at some of the benchmarks they have in the world of politics...they don’t have to even aspire very highly to excel those ‘heights’...

...yeah, that’s the whole issue atm, isn’t it...that we’ve become a ‘one party’ country and when that happens, all we’ll get is worse and worse ...more and more people for more and more choices is what is needed more than anything and children from beginning school need to be more and more engaged in their future in terms of politics....the changes that are needed can’t be made unless the changes that are needed are understood...

They think they can get Political?

I'll have you know they've been political for about a year now. They were hugely helpful to Ireland in things like BLM and being against pesky anti-maskers, in addition to other things.

I'm not sure cancer awareness is necessarily political though, it's just them being helpful to a noble cause by having their heads shaved, and they spoke candidly about their mum's cancer struggles on the show too.

Yeah 100% loads of people (especially those who've lost a loved one to it) raise money/awareness for cancer and cancer charities

bots 31-03-2021 02:23 PM

i've never had a problem with jedward, i always found them quite amusing, and they get my respect for raising all that cash for cancer

Definitely Niamh.

Jedward too were obviously extremely close to their Mum.
A massive loss for both of them.

rusticgal 31-03-2021 02:46 PM

Never particularly liked them...However they have a good heart under their annoying demeanor and have done some good things to help others so they have my respect.
