I agree with going to social media - it’s the only thing most of them respond to these days. You don’t need to rant and rave, just politely explain the situation and usually someone will suddenly be very interested in sorting out the problem.

Keep records of all your communication.
Insist on speaking to the most senior manager and threaten them with exposure on social media. I know that supply of materials has been slow during the Pandemic for obvious reasons...but if that is the case then why are they not just being honest with you. It sounds like it might be dealt with soon...although the 'Broken down vehicle' is hard to believe but...it does happen. Once you have resolved this I would insist on a refund of some kind... ...and ALWAYS pay a deposit because they want their money and that is a massive incentive to get the job done quickly and efficiently... Hope it is resolved soon... |
