There has been another player named who has had to deny its him.....the Courts have ordered the injunction. The media would love to name him but legally they can't.

That's because our courts have no jurisdiction in your country. Had this happened there and your courts put an injunction out, your media couldn't name him, but ours could.

Laws are there to be upheld, our media will be dying to name him, but not at the cost of breaching the injunction.

Every person has the right to a fair trial and is considered innocent until proven guilty. The courts have a duty of care to protect the accused until then.

Don't get me wrong, if he is guilty he deserves all he gets and more but there has to be a fair trial....the victims deserve that far more than he does.

It is a double edged sword as the finger of suspicion also points at other, innocent people so it would be easier if the.media DID name him as we have already had one player who has been wrongly named on social media and that kind of accusation can ruin lives.

As it is though, our media cannot break the law.

What? I think you misunderstood Nicky. The player who was wrongly named, Fabien Delph has had a whole lot of abuse.....it's HIS life that could have been ruined because OUR media cannot name the actual suspect :shrug:
