I occasionally have wisdom teeth try to push through (none of mine ever emerged, they don't even exist at the top but both are "in there" on the bottom) so the most I've had as an adult was them prodding around when one made an attempt at freedom a few years back. There isn't room for them so it would probably be an extraction if one made its way through. They always retreat after a few weeks though. I thought the pain this time would just be that again but I've narrowed it down to that back molar. It's not even that sore, just annoying. I wonder though... if they for some reason had to remove it, would that make the space needed for my wisdom tooth to come through? :think:.

Oh same, none of my wisdom teeth ever came through either and if they tried they'd have to come out as well because there's no space there for them (I doubt they ever will though at this point) I actually still have 1 baby tooth as well

They've "evolving out" which is quite interesting, apparently it's actually very rare to have all 4 wisdom teeth (not just that they don't come through, they're not even in there at all). Like I said I have them "in there somewhere" on the bottom but on the top they don't even exist.

Also interesting about the baby tooth! My daughter is 12 very soon and she's thus far only lost one baby molar :think:. She got all of her adult front teeth when she was 6 - 8 and then they just... stopped falling out... she basically still has all of her baby molars. I'm sure they'll come out eventually but apparently most people have lost all of their baby teeth at 12. She's nowhere near :joker:.

Oh that is unusual. 12 is pretty old alright to still have so many baby teeth. The reason why my last one never fell out is because there was no big tooth under there. The dentist could tell that with an X Ray on your daughter though

Not just scared, an absolute phobia.
Taking the kids was a nightmare, just for their check ups.
Nothing to do with pain, just a real fear of I know not what.

Optician is fine, as long as he hasn’t had garlic the night before.
Had injections in my eyes and cataracts done in both eyes, no problem.
