i missed that :joker: I find Biden very difficult to listen too, i dislike how he stresses some phrases too. He is an elderly man trying to act tough and its just cringe

Dementia is no laughing matter.

user104658 16-09-2021 04:36 PM

I don't think Biden has dementia but yes I think he definitely forgot the name, and his age is showing more and more. It doesn't have to be an actual diagnosable condition... people's memories start to go a bit as they get towards 80+, it's inevitable really, and it's why there should really be an age cap on the presidency. And that's not to say it's any better with Trump. He's still a bit sharper than Biden currently but he's 4 years younger... if he does run again in 2024 and is sworn in in 2025 he'll be the same age as Biden is now. It's just too old . Time for them to step aside and let younger candidates run. And I'm not even saying "young" - early 60's would be fine - but mid to late 70's? It's just a bit much.

Oliver_W 16-09-2021 06:20 PM

Yeah I don't think he's actually senile lol, even I forget people's names :joker:

But some people's age just shows more than others - Debbie Harry is the same age as my nan, but only one of them is still performing two hour gigs while touring a country on the other side of the planet from their home  Biden does seem older than he is, and he's got a creaky old man voice made worse by his stammer ... But that shouldn't automatically disqualify him from a leadership role.

The worrying thing with Biden is that we're only in his first year, at least in the UK if something similar happened then there is some flexibility to change the Prime Minister or call an early election, kind of worry about Bidens capacity to make major decisions come 2023/24 unless he does stand down

A Chinese Expert Victor Gao on Ch4HDnews
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victor_Gao

Said it's not an invasion of Taiwan
it's a Unification of China and Taiwan

He said America has nothing to do with this.

It can be done by Peace or War
nothing can stand in China's way.

It's a little concerning, no matter the decisions as to why the UK always seems to end up dancing to the tune of the USA.

Provocative scenario's are not going to help across the World.

To be fair, CANZAUK was going to be a thing. In this situation, it's just Canada and New Zealand who were left out.

CANZUK was an economic, trade and free movement pact, AUKUS is a military pact, they're completely different things... also (and quite importantly) CANZUK didn't include the United States.
