To be fair though Niamh is a dastardly pirate so she has access to unlimited content at a five-finger discount.

I personally would never :worry:.

i don't have a DVD player anymore, we now have a Blu Ray player (but you can also play DVD's on that, and apparently it upscales its quality either)

I've never watched even 2 minutes of Seinfeld but I've decided I won't like it. I'm not sure why.

I've never watched 2 minutes of it either, that's why I want to watch it, I hear it was good.

Your PS4 will upscale DVDs quite nicely Nicky :hee:.

I hear it was good too but then I look at their faces and I just don't believe it can be good.

I'm not huge on American comedies anyway, although I don't really give them a chance.

So I'll give Seinfeld a chance, but if it's not doing it for me, I'll be putting "On the buses" straight back on.

Although actually, did PS2 play DVDs? I actually can't remember. We still have a PS2 hooked up for SSX Tricky, so if PS2 plays DVDs, then I guess I could take a trip to ye olde days and watch a physical box set .

Yes, they can.

I watched a couple episodes of Seinfeld, didn't like it at all

Were they as annoying as their faces suggest?

Arrested Development
Frasier
The Sopranos

Think those are the main three.

Loads of UK sitcoms

Will probably rewatch Seinfeld once it’s on Netflix.

I don't blame you for thinking that.

But the Show however does have a certain charm to it for me that most of the other Shows of it's type just don't have imo.

Was a Big Brother fan, too .

However, I don't think I've EVER seen them in order. It's one of those shows where you don't really have to though, I suppose, each episode is it's own thing.

I tried a BSG rewatch a couple of years back because I loved my first watch, but I found it just didn't work the same  I was up all night with my eldest when I first watched it, and properly binged it (like 5 eps a night start to finish) - and I think part of what made it so great was that sense of "dread" because they were constantly on the run, facing overwhelming odds, and that's what made it so intense (along with feeling like I was actually there because I was watching it so much  ). Anyway - I found that on a rewatch, it just didn't hit the same because it's not got that element of unpredictability. So it shall forever remain that very intense start-to-finish experience of watching all 73 episodes + the movies in the space of 2 weeks

Honestly I literally slept 7am - 1pm, worked 2pm - 10pm and spent the night watching BSG while holding a baby. It was a strange, strange, yet very cosy time. I remember I had headphones on a massive extension cable from the TV because it had to be silent, but that was in the days before **** like bluetooth headphones :joker:.

Tbf BSG is also a little bit dated by today's standards because Shows like GOT have taken it that one step further since.

But I'll always love BSG personally, it's everything that I like from TV.

I enjoy 5, and actually 6. 7 I think is good but it's an intensely focused "finishing up" season - I can't imagine anyone getting much out of it if they haven't actually seen the rest of the show :joker:.

My personal favourite season is S3.

You should watch Angel as well - objectively, it's actually a better made show overall, definitely more consistent.

Thanks for giving your opinion, I'll be interested to see where we may agree and disagree with each other about the Show.

Oh and I did an Angel watch a few months ago, I did like it, and it does look more like my type of Show versus Buffy, but I'm up for being proven wrong.

Who was your favourite character in both Shows? In Angel I was definitely a Wesley fan, and for me at the moment in Buffy I'm liking Giles a fair bit.

The dialogue is great, you have to be quick to catch all the references.
