I don’t mind it in principle, however we don’t speak to our neighbours directly next door or round to the back :joker:. I usually just say “We’re heading out later so probably shouldn’t take it”.

Also in our old house (slightly dodgy area) about 8 years ago, a delivery of one of the kid’s Christmas presents (worth over £100) was delivered to a neighbour across the street (we didn’t really know any of our neighbours), we got a little card, then when we went to collect it she said she didn’t have any such package. I guess it could have been a dodgy delivery man but the woman who answered the door was being really shifty so I reckon one of her grandkids got a nice extra present that year :hmph:.

Company we bought from sent a replacement but it’s made me wary so we always put a “don’t leave with neighbours” note on things like Amazon accounts.

But Parmy I lost the only key to our back door over 3 years ago and have never bothered to get a locksmith out so this is impossible.
