Not with Trent in the squad it isn't!

Nicky91 05-10-2022 12:38 PM

i used to like Gareth yes, but not anymore now, his time at england team should be up now, even Germany has renewed their staff, after a long spell of Jogi Low

those who i'd like to bring forward as next possible managers
- Raymond Domenech (he has national team experience with France, think his preferred style of play would harmonize well with England i think
- Stuart Pearce (has coached U21 squad longer time ago, don't know where he works currently but yeah i always liked him as the U21 coach)
- Carlo Ancelotti (big name coach, big name success coach to be more specific, hasn't coached a national team before, england would be a first good national team job for him i think)

Zizu 14-10-2022 04:49 PM

England are one injury to Trippier away from Southgate having to explain why he thinks Luke Ayling is a better player than Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Graham Potter would have a chance ..

Southgate is one dimensional just like Conte at Spurs

Yikes !

I just heard about a guy who went to Qatar with his brother and wife last year .. they all got a little drunk and were imprisoned for three days .. the wife was taken off to a women’s prison .

The guys were injected/sedated whilst there were in their cells !!

That’s a scary thought

well no wonder that england are like scared chickens against Iran

Iran can totally kick their smug arses :joker: :joker:

Nicky91 05-11-2022 01:17 PM

No Ben Chilwell to the world cup

hamstring injury in the match vs dinamo zagreb

Calderyon 10-11-2022 01:21 PM

Nicky91 10-11-2022 01:54 PM

not a too bad squad, but you can always trust Gareth to **** something up

Iran has a decent team, very experienced coach

USA has a very talented team, good coach

Wales have Bale, whom just came from being a deciding force in MLS Cup with his late equalizer which got his LAFC into penalty shootouts which they ended up winning, yes he struggled with injuries recently but i find this a case of ''getting back into form at exactly the right moment'' so this is good news for Rob Page, bad news for the england lions i think

who would you guys put in goal, i'd say Ramsdale over Pickford

Disappointed no Toney and amazed he’s risking Wilson .

Also don’t agree with Maguire going !!

I would have preferred Burns , Mings , Tarkowski or even Tomori

Graham Potter is currently struggling with Chelsea.

How the heck do you think he'd do with a team that only a few years ago couldn't even beat Iceland.

Just to clarify I do like Graham Potter, but I honestly don't think that he is ready for the England job.

I think that Toney being under investigation has stopped him being in the squad.

Match fixing in the Sport is taken reasonably seriously.

in terms of individual players the squad isn't at a comparable level to previous squads, but if they can perform as a team, that doesn't matter so much.

There is no preparation time so that certainly wont help

That team was robbed with Rooney getting sent off, and we still took Ronaldo to penalties.:fist::joker:

Under Southgate England's reached a semi-final & a final.

That to me is performing really well, after all England isn't good enough with this squad to win any of these tournaments.
