Are you actually saying you don't like it? For likes? Lol😆 |

I don’t get it, what is being cancelled and what’s wrong with the photo…?

So when branding is changed, the previous branding is erased from history? That seems a bit dramatic. Like when Joel McIlroy took over as Flynn in Home & Away, was Martin Dingle-Wall erased from history? Simply not possible he was a legend.
Think about that next time you say something so silly. |

you agree with what they're doing? Surely you can see there's a pattern emerging here with all these cancellations? |

But these cancellers are ridiculous, usually white female and middle class seeking approval from those less fortunate than them. Didnt they once try to cancel Kevin the Carrot adverts because it wasn’t ‘representative’ of us as humans?? |

Not many people know that. |
I'll never look at carrot batons the same way again.

Would anyone like to join my campaign to resurrect Uncle Ben?
Bring our Benny back! |
I don't think that's going to happen, Alfie. Too many white people outraged by it... on black people's behalf.

Seriously though on the thread topic. Do you care? Like do you actually care? Do you care what's on your rice pack or the label on your sauce jar? Does it ACTUALLY bother you, does it ACTUALLY make you sad that it's being "erased"? I don't buy it. I think it's just that "if it seems woke, it'll annoy some folk". Just as simple as that. You're not boo-hooing about any other branding changes, just the ones that you think have been sparked by something that gets under your skin.
Book a holiday, take a nice bath, stop crying over ****ing cook-in stir fry sauce. |
I agree TS - and to celebrate, I might go and treat myself to a lovely marathon bar :smug:

dont buy the product if it annoys you so much. Nobody is forcing you

James Bond didn't work for you and Marathon to Snickers isn't going to cut it either. We're talking about erasing non-White characters from existence. |
There's a black man on Reggae Reggae Sauce, a black man invented it so... that's okay. So why no black face on peanut butter? It was invented by black scientist George Washington Carver. I don't see why it's offensive to have a black face on a product and I've never heard anyone black complain.

it's the companies themselves that are making these decisions, and that is always based on their bottom line.
