Just had my local Conservative chap round - man in his seventies been up and down the whole street all afternoon. He is going to get our bins back from 4 weekly collections to 2

Your bins are collected monthly  what size bins have you got

Ours is still weekly for both rubbish and recycling...every two weeks for garden waste ...long may it continue :fc: Labour council

Weekly bin collection ftw

bots 23-04-2022 05:43 PM

wales and scotland are the main areas outside of london having an election. None of which are what anyone would consider traditional tory strongholds

To be fair, in Scotland Labour are now so decimated that the only battlegrounds are SNP/Tory which is quite relevant really. A fairly effective litmus test for Scottish politics usually, even if it's just looking at the numbers where there's no actual change (i.e. are the constituencies that used to sweep the board that are edging closer to the pivot point).

there are no exit polls for the local elections, so they will just have to wait for the results

Cherie 05-05-2022 05:45 AM

The prediction is a loss of 550 seats for the Torres we shall see

arista 05-05-2022 06:52 AM

I voted at 7AM

Cherie 05-05-2022 07:25 AM

Looks like Sinn Fein might do well in NI, that will stir things up
