Black Books and Car Share criminally under rated.

Having said that, great work Alf. It's not an easy task to order 80 sitcoms x

I liked this a lot but I wasn’t keen when they changed the actor of the main character.

So this is my top 80 UK sitcoms.

The top places are pretty much accurate but a lot of the placings might not be perfect so don't get to hung up on that.

The criteria I've used is that I've had to have watched every episode or in the case of a few old ones, every existing episode (some older ones had episodes wiped) so there's some popular and loved sitcoms that haven't made my cut, but some of those I have seen a bit of.

A few that won't be making into the countdown because I've either never seen or only seen a little of include....

Rab C Nesbitt (This is one I intend to watch sometime)
Birds of a feather
Brittas Empire
Drop the dead Donkey
Waiting for God
Green Wing
Two Pints of Lager + packet of crisps
Coupling
Miranda
My Family
Nighty Night
Not going out
Fleabag
Toast of London

I'll be getting underway shortly.

Hopefully you will enjoy and maybe you'll see something you used to enjoy but not seen for a long time. Maybe it will influence you to want to check out some of the shows.

My Family was funny.

I actually prefer the later seasons.

Alfie and Abbie were better than Nick and Janey. I will fight you on that :fist:

This would be top 5 for me

I honestly thought there were only about 12 British sitcoms.
