But yeah, in the early days not only did it use the phone line, but there were no monthly unlimited options so it cost 1p/minute in the evening and something shocking like 5p/minute during the day. I remember when we first got "unlimited internet" (it was in fact only free from 6pm - 6am, so I used to wait with baited breath until after dinner to get online and catch up with forum drama :laugh: )...

...and eventually my mum got so sick of people telling her they'd tried to call and the line was busy all night that they got a 2nd phone line put in just for the internet :joker:.

I remember chat rooms, really basic ones being a thing, probably my first toe dips into communicating with strangers online, they were odd. I think TiBB was probably my first Forum though and i only stumbled across TiBB when i was looking for Big Brother opinions as none of my r/l friends watched BB anymore by 2009.

Oh god, the dial up sound gives me PTSD vibes :skull:

Just started Episode 4 of Season 4. Loving it so far. Just wanna say a small ish detail with most the girls, the main girl cast anyway = No Make Up. I dunno, i like that they're allowing them to be natural, and not all dolled up. I know it's a 15 but kids of all ages will be watching this, and it's refreshing to see their hero's without tons of Make up plastered on their faces.

ive caught up with the first 3 seasons, i seriously need a break from it before hitting 4 :laugh:

Seen first two episodes so far and it's really scary this series I'm on edge more than I have been before

first episode of season 4 had a relaxed ending D:

Eddie was a good addition

Watched ep 4 last night, the cinematography of those final scenes :omgno: just really excellent.

I have a theory (no spoilers if I'm right :suspect: ) about that crazy scene in the earlier trailer where he seems to be playing his electric guitar on the roof of his van in the upside down... I reckon at some point they'll discover that the sound of the guitar confuses or distracts those demon-bat creatures tht are flying around (because they probably use sonar?) so he'll have to put on a one-man concert for the bats while the rest of the team invade the house in the upside down.
